I love the love Adam, Trespassing & his vocals are getting from the fandom, reviewers/critics and new fans alike. Life is good! When can we expect to get the metacritic score?

Clicked through Rolling Stone's reviews for this year.
Lots of 3.5 stars.
Only other 4 stars besides our own ZIAT were 2012 Jack White, Bobby Womack, Dr. John, RadioHead, Usher, Ane Brun, Andrew Bird, & The Shins
The Boss got 5 for Wrecking Ball.

Someone please tell me if this Rolling Stone issue is on stands right now? 'cuz I'm gonna run out to get it tonight before Barnes & Nobles closes. Thanks!! I have subscription but haven't gotten it. OKay, maybe I am dense, but what does "Singing like Zeus in a thong" actually mean. Yes RS gave it 4 stars (major squeeing, since Adele only got 3 nd half) , but the disco cheeseball reference, etc. - not liking. He tries to be too cute and too cool for school with his description. If I were a novice not knowing who AFL was, my response would be WTF??? what is this guy trying to say. That is this writer's style - a little over the top but quite expressive. lol. If I'm correct, he's the one who wrote about Adam being a rock god and saving Idol (before Adam was on the cover). He really likes Adam. Odd phrasing here, but think it's clear he likes it. Often people only look at the stars anyway. Personally, I think Zeus in a thong sounds hot!! ;D |
