www.musicboxmix.net/2012/05/08/adam-lambert-trespassing-album-review/It’s been a long time coming for Adam Lambert’s Trespassing album release, but definitely worth the wait! Although originally slated to drop last November, Adam took an extra few months to go in a different, funkier direction and to fine-tune it to perfection. The result shows that he has succeeded in his quest. The album comes chock full of obvious hits, including funky, up-beat dance tunes that rival any pop songs currently topping the charts. There are also ballads that will have listeners near tears, with haunting lyrics and gut-wrenching, soulful cries. All of the songs are relatable, regardless of age, race, gender or sexuality.Recently Adam described the album, saying, “It’s been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I’ve experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality.” The songs do just that, including “ups” such as the partying and fun portrayed in Shady to the “downs” shown in his frustrations depicted in the lyrics of Outlaws of Love. more

To quote the review: "Attention Internet! Adam Lambert’s highly anticipated new album Trespassing has…shall we say “found its way” onto the interwebs and I may or may not have been listening to it all day (spoiler alert: I have been)." Once it´s out somewhere, it´s out, but if I understood it correctly - there were streams for music journalists, bloggers and preview albums sent out - for example Lindsey Parker got one. And the main media outlets will review on the official release date. It's a fantastic review, but it makes me wonder, when the cd is reviewed in such glowing terms, why not just give it a 10 instead of a 9.5.. what's with the .5 deduction??! : You wouldn´t want to come out as too much of a fan. Keep the impression of a critical, neutral review. And you know, it´s Adam Lambert, and I do think we´ll get an album number 3. Looking back - you just have to have room for improvement. ;D

I am already addicted to Runnin!!! I had a 4 hour drive today and goes without saying the album kept me company. Songs that I returned to most often - Shady; Naked Love;Pop that Lock; Runnin ... Love the others as well in various degrees, but those seem to resonate right now. Shady - funk it up Naked love - happy happy Pop that lock - dance your ass off Runnin - lower register, sigh... need I say more
