Someone please tell me if this Rolling Stone issue is on stands right now? 'cuz I'm gonna run out to get it tonight before Barnes & Nobles closes. Thanks!! I just got on the thread so I don't know if this was answered for you but I went to B&N today to see if the issue was out but it isn't at mine.  |

Happy Adam Lambert's Day people!!!
So happy to read all the reviews especially from Jordan Meehan & RS. I just called Barnes & Noble, they don't have RS 24th issue yet. I wonder how some people already have it in their hand :(

Yeah for RS and FOUR (four baby four) stars!!! It's also worth noting that Rolling Stone assigned this review to someone as well known as Rob Sheffield rather than Jody Rosen (who did the FYE and NCOE I think - I've never been a fan of his) or one of their other senior reviewers who really only love classic acts and/or indie bands. I like Rob's writing style -- even when we don't agree. (He loved Gaga's BTW and he explained why very well - not well enough to convince me  but still he made some good pts - and made up for it w/his Jack White review). I now have my fingers tightly crossed for another couple of positive reviews from similarly respected reviewers. (As Eber points out, commercial success is good too and a hit single would certainly help there so I continue to make my daily NCOE requests!!) |

I need to say that I am the first one to jump into the shallow end when someone offers it up, but this album makes me so grateful that even though we have so many hilarious conversations here, we stan someone whose voice can make us throw up our hands and dance but 5 minutes later sit in a chair and shed a few tears over broken hearts and love/life gone wrong. Three years 5 months and it never gets old. Adam is amazing. |
