Bridgeymay, I love the way he pronounces/intones words in Running ) eg night, fix... has you noticed that? Its sexay! I pretty much have deep love for everything about Runnin. The octave leaping vocals. the lower register. The drums oh the drums. The lyrics. It might not be quite a current sounding as some of the others, but it reaches in and plants itself firmly in your brain from first listen. ??? Are you kidding? IMHO Runnin is super-hyper-ultra cool song, if not the most modern of all  |

That deluxe edition is important. Otherwise no "runnin"!!!
I love the words of the whole song but why do I love most of all the line
I've been standing here my whole life?
Cant explain it.
Maybe i just really relate to those words. They speak of someone whose finally realised what awaits them if they MOVE.

I love lines like "one shot and the whiskey goes down" thats an echo of a bullet in the heart of a man, at the same time as being a shot of whiskey. Yep! The best lines  |

it just hit me.
He sings it with a LOT of COMPASSION and feeling.
So it hits me somewhere on the left.
