That would be great! I still don't have Adele's album, not planning on getting it anytime soon. Me neither - are we the last 2 people in North America not to own it ? One of 3 However, I may cave. Not for me, but my daughter has been proudly telling everyone that her two favorite singers are Adam and Adele. Since she's figured out how to work the CD player (sorta, she's not gentle with CDs), she's getting her own version of Trespassing (and I'm embarassed to say that I hope that there really is a "clean-er" version being sold at Wal-Mart b/c I'm already getting the "bad Mom" look from other parents when she sings the lyrics). I may also get her Adele's 21 because she already knows a lot of the songs from the radio. At least the kid has good taste in singers. And it sure beats listening to "Yo Gabba Gabba" songs ;D

I am going to have to jump in and defend nonchallance a bit. I think she got jumped on a bit for speaking her mind. We are all in different places and I think there is some truth in everyone's views. It is certainly true that people who haven't walked in the shoes have no business telling those that have how they should feel or react. But I think nonchallance is speaking of a place that should be the goal--that sexuality doesn't matter at all. I have always had the unpopular opinion that if we shouldn't be ashamed of what we have no control over (gender, sexuality, appearance etc) then we should also not be proud of it over others who are different. I am not proud to be a woman, I am just a woman, who is proud of the choices she has made and the human she has become. I don't understand "black pride" because I would never say I have "white pride". I don't even like the term "gay community" because I don't feel a part of the "straight community". Within these groups are people who I may have more in common with than those I am categorized with. And I get that persecuted people ban together for strength and support and that this is necessary. But what I think maybe nonchallance is hinting at is that someday we will have no need for differentiations. That being gay will be no more important than someone who is attracted to tall people, or blonds, or whatever. We will have no need for gay websites or the like. No labels, just humans. I guess I am idealistic myself. As Q3 posted much earlier today: Music should not be classified as gay or straight. Artists should not be classified as gay or straight. And people should not be classified as gay or straight. I know there are lots of arguments for labels. And reasons for "like" people to group. For me the groupings and labels are the problem. Ok...now tell me how I am wrong....

I like Adele. But I haven't bought her CD nor do I plan on it. But I would buy a DVD from her. I listened to the CD, and the songs are nice, but I don't care for her voice on the songs, she sounds better live to me then she does on the CD.

Mods please delete if necessary since it is definitely NOT an Adam comment, but how many copies of his latest album has David Cook sold ? (since he was dropped by RCA)
