In that Billboard article it says: "The singer's last North American tour of primarily clubs and theaters in 2010 grossed $2.7 million from 30 concerts that attracted nearly 65,000 people, according to Billboard Boxscore."Primarily clubs??? 30 concerts??? nearly 65,000 people? Didn't the GNT include 100 concerts? And there were probably 50,000 people that saw Adam perform just in Montreal and Toronto. And weren't there like thousands and THOUSANDS of peeps at the big Costa Mesa concerts? Just curious about the Billboard statistics about GNT. I don't think the huge festival crowds were counted b/c there were multiple artists over the festival time. None of the international shows - even the big Asian ones - are included here either. IIRC Tampa Bay was a post-game baseball "freebie". Most of the US shows *were* clubs and theaters. While I may personally think these strictures don't remotely represent the true popularity of GNT, I think the selected stats are essentially accurate as stated; particularly if they only include Boxscore data (which would not include venues like Tampa Bay).

www.newnownext.com/adam-lambert-interview-boyfriend-sauli-koskinen/05/2012/?xrs=share_twitterVideo: Adam Lambert Talks Boyfriend, Sexy Lyrics Adam Lambert made on appearance on Chelsea Lately last night to promote his album Trespassing, and took some time to chat with the host about his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen and some of the songs he wrote about their relationship on the new album. While Adam says some of the songs are romantic, he also admits that some of the songs he wrote about Sauli are “real sexy.” Adam also talked about how he met his male love and living with him back in Los Angeles, far away from Sauli’s home country of Finland.

I counted 66 GNT shows in the US, not including festivals and radio shows. That was just through September 21st. How many US GNT shows came after this date?

So, in the end, there were only around 30 concerts in the U.S.? No. I ammended my earlier post to specify "Boxscore-reported". I just can't type fast on my phone.
ETA: Oh, I see tigerlily counted 66!!!

ETA: Yeah, seoulmate, not sure where they are getting those facts from. They did specify North America, but still 30 shows for NA seems VERY low and he played stadiums (Tampa Bay), Balloon Festival and several large venues so that seems inaccurate either way. Forgot about Tampa Bay!! I'm feeling a little nostalgic about the whole GNT era! For all you peeps who attended a gazillion concerts, what were some of the BIGGEST venues? Were there 5000-6000 at Costa Mesa? And the same for Tampa Bay? Costa Mesa's capacity is 8500; it sold out both days with additional lawn seats sold the second night (the original date before they added the show on the night before). My guess is there were close to 18K for the two nights combined. I think they were saying 30K+ for Tampa Bay. It was one of the highest attendances they had (Tampa Bay has a notoriously difficult time filling its stadium for games). With field seating, the capacity is 70K. Not everyone stayed for show, but conservative estimates put stadium at nearly half capacity.

But in reality ... I HAVE been in an unreasonbly good mood the past days: I have a 15 min walk each morning to the tube and listen to THAT voice now again .... that makes me happy for the rest of the day (noone needs to know of my sneakpeeks on allthingsadam during working hours), compared to my colleagues that is insane. If I compare them to ME, THEY are insane! ... or at least to be pittied. ETA: I just got reminded sinde that download, that Adams voice has an effect on me that should only be available on prescription. No prozac (?) could ever have that effect on me.
