Aughh! My crazy day is not allowing me to read the thread or post carefully but I gather congratulations are in order to Birdieeve - YAY! that people are seeing Adam's DVD at Walmarts (as my mother calls it) - YAY! - and that the DVD got a really good review. (Here's the pic that I think makes Adam look like he could easily be cast as the "Glam Gangster" - but not as the "Glam-ster," 'cuz that sounds too much like a glittery hamster.) justjared.buzznet.com/photo-gallery/2527629/adam-lambert-concept-la-fashion-week-01/

They all have the Live CD. I did hear that Barnes and Noble was pretty cheap but that was online and the price may have gone up.

What do we do here, before we post - before we click 'post reply'?
Well, when I prepare to post, I re-read and check, sometimes restate or reorganize, and fianlly press the key. And away it goes, the message, to you. I kinda behave like the perfectionist we all know - - - Adam.
It goes to you - - - all these 'anonymous' friends from around the world - South Africa, Greece, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada.
A couple of nights ago, I was home by myself - having left a baby who couldn't breathe - comforted only by the knowledge that my little granddaughter was receiving the best of care in the NICU - and I needed to get back to 'real life' (what the hell is that?) and go to work - in, of all places, a hospital. I reached out to the universe for something to hold on to. I went to the place, to the people who pour their thoughtful knowledge out every day. I went to you. I've been afraid to go back and read my posts until this afternoon; because I knew I had put it out there. Did I embarrass myself? I was broken open. I want to tell you, thank you, I embrace you. Penelope is improving. Requiring less O2 support; becoming more vigorous; getting mad when she's poked!
Your messages of love; your real-life experiences in the NICU; your 'virtual candles' warmed my hollow heart - carried me through a very lonely night. I've never been more afraid. I came to you with nothing; and you, adamtopians, flooded me with hope.
She keeps progressing! This baby has an attitude! The beautiful little girl who 'debuted' exactly one year after Adam 'debuted' as a solo artist at Fantasy Springs will be home some day - soon. We are emerging from the forest.
You have brought me love. I am not alone. Neither are you. This really is a special place. Delight, craziness, sexiness, practicality, amazing insights, trips to Wal Mart - - they all happen here. I couldn't love you more!
We talk about how Adam shows up just when we need him. As I backed out of the driveway, days ago, on my way for the 100+ mile drive to the hospital - Adam's voice was on the radio. It's happened, amazingly, over and over - the one time he's played on the radio in a day - it happens when I need it most.
And, this other thing. Here I am, in medicine - an 'old' RN - helping manage a big hospital - - yet I was clueless when it came to the diagnosis and care required for Penelope. So, I did what we all do. I 'googled' her condition. Went to 'PubMed' - a reliable source of information. And I read the article, scrolling down. At the end - - - I kid you not! - - was the moniker A.D.A.M.
As we sit at our computers; between tasks; loads of wash; dinner on the stove; returning emails; business or networking - I am pausing for a moment, before I press that 'send reply' button - - to tell you, stranger, that you're beautiful; you helped me through the night.

Congratulations birdieeve...! how wonderful.... On another note: have any other Canadians received shipping notifications or arrival estimates? I got that first email over a week ago and then nothing...nada...so heaven only knows when it will arrive here....and we pay far more for shipping to add insult to injury....totally unfair :-( boohoo I ordered from Amazon.ca with Express delivery and nada so far. But our dinner and DVD viewing party is confirmed for April 10. I'll be Emailing you and maria22PF. Better order the sparkles for the cupcakes today, LOL. I ordered from Amazon.ca as well, regular delivery. They emailed me to say delivery between March 30-April 5. HMV is also carrying it so I plan to go on March 22 and get another copy there, so I don't have to listen to y'all salivate over it for days. The Amazon copy will go to the shrine, along with my Japan RS, US RS, Details, etc. - hey, it's not my fault the man doesn't take a bad picture.

okay, so I had no idea what you were talking about with this Friday chick, but i investigated (*shudders*) and Oh Mi God youGUyzzzzz biatch totes stole Adam's tree and lighting!: LOL--okay, so I'm sure I could've gotten a better screen-cap of IIHY, but I couldn't be bothered Guilty confession (*hands over stan card*)(#don'tjudge) --I hadn't ordered my glamnation live dvd yet ( ??? who, me?) cause I couldn't imagine watching it without AMW next door, and she was already getting one, but that EW review, which was so focused on the CD rather than the DVD, completely sold me. I gotta have me some expertly recorded live Adam. Now I wanna buy one of my own! Do all the DVDs include the CD? Any tips about where I'll find the best price that does Adam the most good? (Maybe those are two separate questions...)
