Wow! What a great, happy thread. Congratulations birdieeve. I am finally heading back to the snow after a packed few days in Phoenix. It is going to take me days to catch up!! I won't really be back until tomorrow but.......nice to be here for a few moments. Welcome back, Q3! We missed you. We've been good. Really. ;D |

A couple of nights ago, I was home by myself - having left a baby who couldn't breathe - comforted only by the knowledge that my little granddaughter was receiving the best of care in the NICU - and I needed to get back to 'real life' (what the hell is that?) and go to work - in, of all places, a hospital. I reached out to the universe for something to hold on to. I went to the place, to the people who pour their thoughtful knowledge out every day. I went to you. momtomany - my baby had to spend a night in the NICU with some breathing problems (although they were really, really minor), and so my heart goes out to you. The nurses who tended to me and her were so wonderful and I was deeply grateful for their patience and attention. I wish the baby continued strength. to all who have complemented her name - thank you! Aria is of course from the Italian, but also comes from the Hebrew for lioness. Strong indeed. Her middle name is derived from her great-grandmother's middle name (Estelle), the bearer of which passed away this fall after 92 years of loud and strong living. We hope the combination supports her well! and thank you everyone for pointing me in the right direction for Adam news! I am catching up on my stanning very slowly in dribs and drabs :-). |
