Terrestrial radio means land based radio, as opposed to internet radio. (Google is my friend). I don't know what that means about XM and Sirius. I would guess they count too.

Hi all - I've been in enforced lurkdom for a while due to mind boggling RL stuff that needs to happen over the next couple of months, but am kinda managing to keep up with Adamland here and there when possible. Am almost having withdrawal symptons glammit!

So just want to say 'Happy Birthday' to all those peeps that I have missed and huge {{{{{HUGS}}}} to those that have shared their stories - both sad, brave and joyful. Momtomany your posts about wee Penelope have had me in tears several times and am so glad she is pulling through. "Congratulations" to all that have had celebratory events take place and a massive bolt of 'love and light' to Japan. I am shaken to my core by the tragedies in both Christchurch and Japan of recent.



I seem to be surrounded on all sides by the earth moving right now. My neighbours and I had a smallish landside under our houses about 18 months ago with varying degrees of damage and we have been waiting patiently for well over a year now for the NZ Earthquake Commission who put 5 x 20metre bores down to monitor the situation to a) accept our claim and then b) fix it.
The claim finally got accepted on Christmas Eve and we started to see some progress because the EQC was starting to get freed up from the first earthquake in Christchurch last September... but now.... who knows.

To top that all off, last week as part of a legal requirement here I had to obtain a LIM report (Land Information Memorandum) on the new property that I am buying. I was gutted to discover that the property has a "Soil Warning" lodged against. Long story short, there is a Geo Tech report and apparently the front half of the section (which runs down to the beach) is unstable too!

The world is kinda rocking for me right now - and not in a good way.

Anyways, just wanted to 'check in' and say hi

Haha! Deep breath, AgeanBlue, deep breath. Terrestrial is just one term we sometimes use for traditional radio stations, of the non-satellite or online kind. And by servicing, it means that the radio department delivers an email (no longer physical singles) with the song to the program directors of all pertinent radio formats.
