I am a rock fan but I do not want Adam to end up having to move to Nashville with all the failed rock artists -- scrambling to shift to Country crossover.
The world needs to dance. And I hope RCA gives him a chance to release a dance track as a single. I think Shady or Cuckoo or Naked Love are all candidates.
ETA: I love Nashville and have tons of musician friends there, I just can't see Adam there. ----
And I am re-listening to this album and "Naked Love" is >>>> NCOE. No dis to NCOE which I like, but NL is just a great dance-pop track -- and would have been a perfect summer single.

But.....but...we are old rocker chicks at heart......Understand though!!!! SOOO true!!!!The problem with this is Adam is trying to get hits on Pop radio. Putting out a single that appeals to the older rock chicks will not help him accomplish that. A song does not have to be an official single for fans to enjoy it. It's on the deluxe version, fans can listen to it hundreds of times a day. What does it matter if it is a single or not? I say let the selected singles do their job and enjoy your favorite songs on the album whenever you want! Everyone has different favorites anyhow!

The image of rock star moving to Nashville with the other failed rock artists would probably be a sight to behold. It just seems that it is the way at the moment.
What offends me is that country is penetrating the pop market, aka Carrie, Lady antebellum and my alltime unfavorite Taylor Swift (although she is a great songwriter story teller, Why so mean was really cool) etal.....At some point I hope the genres just don't all meld together and become one. Diversity is key.

I love Runnin... I love Shady... I love Cuckoo... I love TP... I Love ALL of them... My favorite changes several times a day.... aside from the two current singles! I have a feeling we will have another single in August, when Adam is back from EU and has time to promote it. In the meantime I am praying to all gods out there that NCOE does well! PLEEEEASE!!!! Do we know of anyone in the US who received TP? or Fault?

In NY no less. This makes me very happy! FYI, for this font colour I had to move my laptop screen around to get it at the right angle to be able to read it. (This is with a light background).

We cannot deny our roots, but let me tell you all the dancey songs are my favorite. Not a fan and never was of BTIKM and lukewarm on NCOE. However Kicking has a strong vibe.
I can tell you, I am still a rocker chick, but my tastes in music are so eclectic....you would be surprised at my vinyl collection and my cd collection and my ipod songs. You'ld think I was 3 different people. I was a real big fan of euro techno music, so Adam's dancey is right up my alley.

Just for general info -- Members have the option to pick their own style for this board. The default is white and light blue backgrounds, but there are options to use white, black, dark blue or purple.
The best font options are to use the default which switched to a setting that works on all the background -- black on the light backgrounds or white or gold on the dark backgrounds.
If you pick a color, the best choices are medium bright colors -- like fuchsia works on all backgrounds.
I am working on a new hybrid skin for dramatic with a lighter posting area. Probably will have it up next week.

Couldn't we start a trend that Runnin should be the next single? Please, Pretty Please!!!!!! I do not think there is any chance a bonus track will ever be released as a single.
Setting that aside, and I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I am not a huge fan of Runnin' -- I think if he performs this live, like "Aftermath", I will be a fan of the live, more stripped version of the song.
IMO Runnin' would not get much radio airplay. I think there are several better choices for radio --- Shady is top of my list, but Cuckoo, Chokehold, Naked Love, Broken English (with a radio edit of the instrumental break), and a few other tracks would be more suited to mainstream pop radio and HAC.
Runnin' has a somewhat dated rock-orientated beat -- and doesn't really fit any radio format.
Finally, Adam needs a single that will get airplay on CHR and HAC, plus get played in the US and in other countries. The best possibilities are the dance-pop tracks and the mid-tempo ballads.
Can not be true! I'm so sorry if this is so .... 'Runnin' is a new and different music from Adam. I think 'runnin' is exactly that kind of song that arouses interest, even in people who have so far not been interested in Adam's music. If someone asked me what kind of music Adam sing, I would immediately play him 'runnin'! But we all don't love a similar music. Luckily, Adam's album has many different musical direction. (By the way I also love very much "Kickin In".)
