I've always found one of the most valuable aspects of Atop was the high number of lurkers (usually 10x the number of registered online users), and the fact that Adam news and calls to vote and request and buy to support him are therefore widely disseminated. The goal of information technology and online design (I used to work in Web Project Management) is to make the information users need readily accessible and easy to find and visually absorb along with conveying branding. The effort and time required to scroll through and visually parse the thread verses the actual information and in depth discussion related to Adam news that comes out has been pretty unbalanced lately and I just don't have the time or energy for it. I understand all this color and motion is fun, but to me it all reads as very early Myspace, which basically died in part because online visual tastes moved on a couple of years ago. It looks dated, and it impairs readability. I have been trying to post voting reminders and new stations spinning as close to the first page as possible in the hope that they might get read before the thread goes off in multiple different directions. But that's a pretty awkward time for me personally. If anyone wants to take over posting these reminders in the main thread that is able to, I would be grateful. Otherwise I'll try posting new stations spinning in the numbers thread which is more navigable. JMHO, but it is rather confusing. It's almost like everyone is bolding their comments for importance. (when that isn't the intent) It might be distracting and confusing for those who are scrolling through quickly and trying to pick up on the most important information. Maybe we can keep the numbers thread more uniform, with the colors and bolding, etc. saved for adds and impressive updates? IDK? |

Hmm regarding singles, I remember a conversation with Myspenser some time ago, and we were saying that it seems that just about all the uptempo songs have potential to be singles. Only thing that's really tricky, is the order that they are released. So I'm going to do a little spreadsheet, of how I think the singles should or could go. Since NCOE is the single now, I think the next proper single could be either Naked Love or Cuckoo. Shady, Kickin In, Trespassing, and Pop that Lock are either too industrial or too funky, and would seem to be too different then and in a different direction then NCOE. If they release Naked Love next, the only logical single after that would be Cuckoo, imo. If they release Cuckoo, they can release any of the other 4, since they all have a similar vibe, funky and industrial, just taking it to the next level. But I think it's more probable that Shady, Kickin In, and Pop That Lock be chosen over Trespassing.Anywho, just my two cents.
What do you think the chances are of releasing Naked Love by a gay guy??Yeah...I don't want to worry or think about that... /0\ |

Hiyuh  I've been lurking around here for awhile, resisting making an account out of the fear of becoming completely sucked into Adam Lambert world and never seeing the light of day...I guess we will see what happens Anyways, I'm looking for a performance he did last year of Sleepwalker. It was a very intense and angry live performance. I don't think t was part of the Glam Nation Tour. I think I remember lots of intense eyeliner...also I believe there were only a few live performances of Sleepwalker available at the time. It was a big stage. Oh, and I remember the anger got really intense after the guitar solo. Any help finding this video would be awesome! I need my fix. Also, any help with where a posting like this would go in the future would also be helpful and appreciated |

Just got an email from Amazon that my Trespassing Deluxe CD has shipped and is expected to arrive on May 15 (price is $11.99). Whoo hoo! Lucky you!!!! I ordered the same and I have yet to get an email - my order page says I may get by the 18th. Soooo not fair.
I didn't try to pre-order it until couple of weeks ago but on the check out I saw that they're scheduled to be delivered between 05/18-05/22, so I cancelled and I will just walked to Best Buy on the 15th from work. It's right around the corner of my work place[/b] |

There have been so many beautiful posts on people's interpretation of the lyrics of the Trespassing songs. Is it possible to move these into the threads for the individual songs in the Trespassing section so we won't lose these gems? Perhaps those of you that posted those wonderful interpretations can do that?
