Thanks tigerlily! I would also be curious to know how Daughtry did, as well, although he came out at a really hot time album-wise. I will research that later, although you are right, his album was released on Black Friday so that is a whole different world of numbers and comparisons. The Cookstans keep such diligent records, it's easy to find exact info on him. Daughtry's fans are more laid back because he flew out of the bubble on his first CD. I have a chart someone made about release times somewhere...

Boston reported no adds for this week. I was hopeful for them this week. They spun 11 times last week, even tho 9 were overnight. I am concerned. I hope the album makes some BB Charts next week so radio will sit up and take notice. They wanted this song and yet, still Adam struggles to get radio play. This time, it can't be the song.

Whoa S*&@^# Usually I don't see you having a 'downer'. I've been stressing since I see daily the spin increase is minimal and yesterday, it was =. AND NO TOP 40 adds yet????? Yet I see other artists spins increases 100+ daily - I'm getting down YES if he continues to struggle then it aint' the song >:( >:( >:(

Z100 just reported in. They added Gym Class heroes and Calvin Harris. I wasn't expecting Z anyway, but I know Q3 was. They usually don't add early though. The only station left that has been spinning is Chicago. They have not reported yet.

I don't expect Chicago to add, although it would be nice. Actually, I am a little worried that WKSC is going to drop the song after the concert on Friday. He is getting curtesy spins, basically, so I am almost expecting it to happen.
And I continue to request, but it doesn't seem to matter much.
Honestly, NCOE needs Z100. And more than that, it needs big spins from Z100.

There is something else going on here. Let's not kid ourselves. Why are these stations who are having him perform at their station concerts not adding him? If he stays atop the iTunes charts, he's poised to debut at #1 next week. How can radio continue to ignore that without looking like they're deliberately discriminating against him? Unless RCA has worked out some deal for these stations to mass add on the adds date. It absolutely does not make sense for radio to "supposedly pick" the next single to only ignore it.

I'll admit I'm utterly bewildered........... :(
C'mon RCA. The rest of the plan is unrolling nicely. Please tell me you didn't forget this part.

I just came back to say that I'm sorry if it sounded like I was faulting the numbers thread. I love this thread. It was just such a letdown to read the disheartening numbers after exalting in this glorious release day. Can I come back again?
