I am posting my totally optimistic but my real prediction for Trespassing week 1 US sales units --- 116,430. Not based on any rational thought.
And even if I am high, I suppose the rational number is more like 80K-85K, Adam is getting the #1 debut this week and I think will beat even Adele to take #1.

That's weird. Short add list with hardly anyone getting more than 3 adds today. Big outlier was "Call Me Maybe" with a grand total of 16. Adam fairly near the top of the list with just 2 adds.
I'm okay with 2 adds since it's pretty low cross the board. Fingers crossed for some serious adds tomorrow though.

I'm praying for #1 but was just looking at HDD album chart for this week. 54% in and Carrie is still at #1 w/ 87K and Adele is back at #2 with 67K. I don't know how much those numbers will go up since that's just a little over half in. I saw tonight that Carrie is performing on DWTS tomorrow night and is also performing on Billboard awards Sunday night. I don't think there's enough of a window Sunday night for a huge bump in sales but DWTS has a large audience and she'll get a bump from that. Carrie may be more of a factor than Adele.

Isn't across board all albums get a bump because of Mother's day weekend? I'm betting on Carrie and Adele seeing big drop next week. People meant to buy are likely to have bought last week, right? Do I make any sense here?

Adele and Carrie will be tough to beat. Adam may have top 90K to get the #1 spot.
I really, really want Adam to reach 100K---scared to even speculate, though.

Do I make any sense here? Hard to say. Carrie has been on TV a lot lately and has more appearances scheduled. Two high profile prime-time TV appearances this week alone. Her single has also crossed over to HAC from country so she has a lot of exposure right now.

Realistically, anything north of 70-75k will be celebration worthy.
I want that 100k so bad, though!

The rational me is okay with Adam being #3, again, cause I've been reciting this to myself "it's not how you start, it's how you finish!" and I believe in this album and it will sell! But, damn! I want that no.1 spot for Adam so bad!! He deserves that spot and it would mean so much not only to himself, but to an entire community, especially under current social climate. So, I'm gonna go with Q3's irrational prediction. :-)
