I wonder if Adam will do the shortened version of NCOE that he has done on GMA and iHeart or the full one for Idol? I kind of like the shortened version. It gets into the dancey part of the song faster and doesn't start off as a ballad. I like the shortened version too...particularly the intro. I want to know how he'll be staging the song. Every guest artist this year seems to GO BIG with dancers and lazers etc....what do you guys think? Hmm, I'm thinking he'll go with just the band--because everyone will expect big. Also what he said about Prince not relying on all the other stuff makes me think he's going to feature his voice with mini-solos for his musicians during performances. JMO |

Those big productions on Idol this year have all been pre-taped, JLo, ColdPlay, Haley.... all of those. Remember, they only have 2-3 minutes to set-up and take it down if it is live. I didn't realize those other big production numbers were taped. Makes perfect sense. But how will he top the "green tornado"?! LOL! He's got to be doing something different from what we've seen so far. It IS Idol afterall....not just a talk show or the like.
