God, I LOVE Shady ...
..... And I really love that Brian does back-up vocals, too. And Isaac is fantastic ... and, and, and ... oh hell, I think they're all great! Imagine how great they'll be after they've had more then just these few concerts ... woohoo!

Is there anyway to figure out how many were watching z100? My stream cut out a few times, but that could have been my computer/connection.
I agree he sounded great, but know it will just get better. They have got to find an end for Naked Love. Lol. I can't imagine how hot a long-sleeved silk shirt would have been under those lights. Do you think a new outfit or some combo for idol?
I hope he has or will have time for a good cry. There has been so much riding on this--he has to be more than a little verklempt and he likes a good cry.
Hope everyone has time to sleep on the plane!
Oh, did I mention that I received my hmmm multiple copies today? Now I need to take a ride in my audiophile car. Sad when my best speakers are in my car! "Hey, whose that crazy lady living in her car?"

So glad they streamed it and hope they taped it also like last time. The quality was pretty good for a live stream and sound was really good. Going to go hide on this next comment: While I think this was great and toward the end things started to gel better, I think the band and Adam will tighten up with more time playing together. It is going to take a little getting use to hearing back-up singing by others besides Adam backing himself. They are sounding pretty good, but in a few songs here it distracted me - Broken English especially. And since Brian, Adam and who knows who else wasn't feeling good, that may have accounted for some of it? Or maybe it was just sound/volume issues? *hiding behind couch now* Hahaha, did anyone else notice on Naked Love he said "roll it out" instead of "take it out". And well, since we know what he is referring to taking out I found that interesting. He also left out the "fuck" in Cuckoo, so a little radio censoring on his part. So cute:-) I love the band... except for the backing singers. I think some of their harmonies are just obnoxiously high and it ends up sounding like screaming that's just distracting from Adam, see: Broken English, Trespassing, Shady. Other than those moments I do think they have really nice voices, I just think the arrangements need some work. |
