In the car...Jayn on Alice just announced that Adam is headlining the free concert in golden gate park on the 24th? I'm on my phone so I can't verify that date. She squeeled like the total bert she is. Who's going????? Gotta go cello lesson time! Wow! What month???! June 24th. |

I think Amazon not delivering on time resulted in extra sales for Adam! I know I went out today to buy the album because my order didn't come yet. A blessing in disguise for Adam!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so excited!! LOL!! I think I have a new fan in the family!! This AM I got an email from my SIL in HI. She mentioned that she had turned GMA on yesterday and caught Adam singing. Said she was very impressed. When I was there last Nov., I played the EP for her & my brother. Later, I sent her the vid of Queen & Adam in Belfast. She used to live in England and loves Queen. She wrote back and said she really enjoyed that and she thought Adam was a great replacement for Freddie...lol! I did explain to her that he was just doing one offs for Queen. So, after I got her email this AM, I wrote back to her and sent her a link to the stream of Trespassing. Told her a bit more about Adam and what he was all about. Also told her to google him if she wanted to see more vids of performances & interviews. Well, she must have done just that. Here is a bit of her return email to me. *Adam is so talented. I'm becoming a fan! I can see why interviewers love him. He seems so natural, and easy to talk to. Just a good friend with a powerful voice! I hope he always stays so grounded. I'll have to listen more carefully to the back ground voices. Didn't realize he did all his own vocals...wow.* I'll have to write her back and explain about his close friends & family that keep him grounded. She really gets it though!!!! YAY!!! I mentioned to her about him doing his own back up vocals on the album and suggested she use headphones to listen. That's what she's talking about in the last sentence. I'm just so happy that I might finally have someone in my family to bert with!!! As soon as iHeart gets their vids up, I'm going to send the link to her. This day just gets better and better!!!!!!!!! |
