I think I would be really happy with 90-100K.

Hi everyone! I'm a day late and a dollar short as always, but I want to thank everyone for yesterday's brithday wishes (my wireless was being a pain, and then once that was working I couldn't get onto the site- maybe my own personal mercury was in retrograde, lol).
And I got the perfect birthday gifts- my box set was delivered and Adam is #1 on iTunes, and I got to watch the iHeart livestream. What else could a girl wish for (except maybe the #1 album for the week. Is that greedy to ask for too?)
I've not posted much in awhile, as RL has been a whirlwind, but I do try to check in for as many pages as I can manage in a day. I love the party we have going on in here!

www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/newsPage.cgi?news08980m01THREE DIVAS VIE FOR THE CROWN Adele, Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert in a Three-Way Race for #1 May 16, 2012 While it's still early in the week, a three-way battle is shaping up for #1 between Adele and Carrie Underwood, both of which will have substantial post-Mother's Day drops, and Adam Lambert, who appears to be trending to the high end of expectations. The former American Idol runner-up and 19/RCA recording artist’s sophomore album, Trespassing, looks set to debut with between 70-80k, which will at least put him in the running for a chart-topping bow. His 2009 debut, For Your Entertainment, scored first-week sales of 198k, which was good for a #3 debut, albeit on the Tuesday after Black Friday. Underestimated. It will be closer to 100K, maybe slightly over. One of the very few times I posted on the numbers thread a few days ago and I agreed with you.

Underestimated. It will be closer to 100K, maybe slightly over. I like the way you think....but didn't you say HDD was usually pretty accurate with their forecasts? HDD is very accurate. But whenever they have been grossly wrong, it has been because they underestimated. They err on the side of caution. With Idol on Thursday, I think they have underestimated this time!

I have my heart set on 100,000. It just sounds so much better than even 99,999....
Getting a number 1 debut is more important though, if we can get that with 70 -80 I'll be ecstatic!!....but damn, we've got Carrie and Adele to contend with. Doesn't Adele sell over 70,000 on her worst weeks? LOL!
