Well, Billboard makes me more hopeful for #1 But hate the crappy spin about lowest sales. On another topic, interesting tweet from Shoshana. I just love her! She is completely on-the-ball.

WOW what a downer... NOW I hope everyone in America goes out and buys Trespassing. How is this a downer? ??? Ya know I'm not sure, so I deleted my comment. I think i'm being overly sensitive. In fact I probably should delete my following comment.. LOL :-/

I think Adam will be in the audience if he is getting a chance to plug his album and performance on Idol. That's a shame about The Washington Post---they contribute to his overall score, right? I hope not, but they are a major paper. They panned his GNTour too - what's wrong with them??

Carrie debuted at 120k for her opening of her new album and she was No. 1
So it is tough all over. It Adam does 100k that is excellent, given Carrie's track record and being the Queen of Country and her exposure. She is always hosting award shows and always in the news. She gets as much exposure as Adam.

Am I the only one idiot who hasn't already received the copy of Trespassing (I mean until today)? Forever the last in everything :( ETA: I'm not saying that those who didn't receive it are idiots but if I'm the only one something is wrong with me....
No, I haven't gotten mine either. I did get the shipping confirmation but it hasn't arrived on my doorstep. I did download from I-tunes (which I was planning to do anyway) but I want my CD!

My original sales estimate for TRSP was between 60K and 80K. It appears in the ball park with that HDD estimate but I wish it were higher. Still a finish on the BB200 in the top 3 would be great. Some here & on twitter were hoping for a top 5 finish so this sounds encouraging. With Adele's massive sales and all the promo Carrie's gotten (plus her star status in Country) I will be very happy with a top 3 for him with those two.
But I still want #1!!!

The Washington Post IS NOT ON IT!
