I just got back on line and I am thrilled to see the #1 is holding!
 I have a nice Target story: Had a Dr's appt cancelled (which they never told me & I had to drive there to find out!) Bummer - but it turned out fine! It was near Target so I thought I'd go in & check the "stock". The Deluxe were GONE BABY GONE and there was one Regular left. I have many Deluxe but no Regular so I snatched it. At the checkout the Cashier said: "Is that Adam Lambert?" Me: "Yes" C: "Is this a NEW album? I have his first one." Me: "New. Just released yesterday. This one is better than the first one!" C: "Oh my hubby & I like him! I'll have to get this!" Me: "You have none left on the floor here. I bought the last one. It was also #1 on iTunes." C: "Oh." :( Me: "Be sure to get it. You'll like it. I guarantee it! I feel sorry for the people who go looking for the album to see it's sold out. :( I also wonder how many impulse buys didn't happen because it was sold out at different stores.. :-/ Maybe it's a good idea to let the peeps in the music dept know that they are out and need to re-order or re-stock.. not meant as a criticism, but just a suggestion.  Yes especially after American Idol. Are there 25 million viewers??? |

Do you mean they tweeted about him yesterday 5/15?? I missed that! I just came back to say something, though... After searching their @replies feed, it looks to me like LOTS of ARTISTS include iTunes twitter in THEIR tweets to THEIR fans, like this one: AlanisMorissetteNews @alanisnews #Guardian is slipping... peaked at 52... now at 54 on @itunesmusic.... please purchase the song on iTunes if you can, must get it into Top50 Maybe Adam needs to tweet out "buy on @itunesmusic or something?" I don't know...not too worried about it, not enough to tweet Adam advice, that's for sure, lol...gotta get back to RL now! That 2.5 mill followers just got me excited for a minute! No, they didn't tweet about him, but I just thought that they hadn't tweeted ANYTHING since May 15th.... Maybe their Twitter person is in a coma, or something ;D And that idea about Adam including @itunesmusic in his tweets is AWESOME! How can we tell him that? Maybe... on Twitter? ;D LOL, I get it now. You're right, they really don't tweet a lot--but HAVE tweeted (or re-tweeted) about nearly every other possible artist with recent releases. I tweeted one more time, just to get Adam's name in their feed: Buy @adamlambert's FANTASTIC new CD #TRESPASSING @itunesmusic NOW! Are you ladies talking about Adam going to BM this year? It's sure not the reason we're going, BUT after his incredibly hectic schedule up to that point this year, I THINK HE'LL NEED A BREAK!  PLUS, if the EARTH HARP is back at the temple, maybe THAT will inspire his Trespassing Tour ideas? OMG. I have to do RL. And I'm sucked into the Atop vortex again!!! :-/ ;D |

Well they had to give the Idol butthurts something to ease the pain. ;D Even if he gets #1 they can (and WILL) quote "the lowest #1 since last August".
I say this in NO disrespect to you, but....... FUCK 'EM!!!!!!!!  The Idol World =/= The Real World Let the FOOs sit over in a corner and spin their silly web of excuses to make themselves feel better! ITA! Who cares about the idol buble, they will just make any excuse to undermine Adam's achievement. This HDD & Billboard article were already has its thread in the other site and they already made some excuse... LOL. So I say.. number 1 is number one. Even if he doesn't make the #1, he is still in the top 3. |
