I wonder if this on going top album position on iTunes might mean that Trespassing is perhaps reaching and being embraced by a diffident demo - the younger crowd, who tends to download via digital medium. New fans...

***Scroll Alert*** FOR THE FINNS NRJ plays NCOE a lot, Voice and Aalto sometimes. Yle X3m started with frequent spins but has slowed a bit, still plays though. Nova and YleX are not playing. It seems that NCOE is pushed to NRJ and Voice (their tv is important for video) i.e. younger audience. Voice has a big banner on top of their page advertising TP (NetAnttila 16,95) and they had the competition - and they play WWFM, IIHY and FYE, only NCOE this week was after my email on monday. I think we should most importantly vote in NRJ top10 and request a lot on Voice. If you have time and energy for more you could make a wish on Aalto, X3m and YleX. Maybe wish for BTIKM on YleX sometimes because they played it more than other stations. (Nova plays WWFM and FYE, no chance for NCOE at the moment). Sigh. I'm really debating whether to post and I'll prolly end up deleting this, but I normally really like LA Weekly articles and this one really disappoints me. First, the copout by the writer to go to the Glambert route. That's shorthand from a hipper-than-thou rock writer to say that Adam appeals to women of a certain age and therefore his cred is questionable. Note how many times you hear a dj say to Adam that his mom was so excited that the dj was going to be interviewing him. It allows the dj to retain the idea that he isn't a fan--just his mom. Then the use of the "c" word--whether it's with an "ie" or whatever. It's an off-limits word to me the same way the n word is to black ppl or the f word is to gay ppl. Being a gay man doesn't give him the right to use disparaging terms for woman. Ok, rant done. And, mods, delete if you don't want the convo to go here. I'm squeeing with the rest of you abt the album. Freaking LOVE it. I can't even describe the joy it brings me and the ridiculous happiness and fun y'all have brought me with this board. Still remember when I discovered PF went poof (during drive from Louisville FYE show I seem to recall). Can NOT wait for AI tomorrow and to see what happens on charts!! I so want good things to happen.

I've purchased two for myself (one physical and one digital) and two people asked me to pick them up copies which they paid for themselves. Personally I don't believe in multiple purchasing just for the sake of it's only a very small percentage of fans who buy more than 1 or 2 copies. I will only buy one for myself but I will gift a few copies... so I guess that counts. I'm the same. I bought one digital and one hard copy of the deluxe album. For me, that's excessive since I never buy physical CD's anymore. If I come across someone I think will really appreciate it, I may gift it but I'm not expecting that to happen, TBH. I'm very happy to see it staying at #1 on itunes and moving up on Amazon. Hopefully, new people are hearing the good buzz and checking it out! |

After Adam performs on Idol, he will sell as much as the first album if not more... how can something so great ... not make a resounding splash in the market .... Sorry I do not know about music sales... I just know that a good product will sell if presented out there...let more people get a taste of this awesome music....  |

I thought Adam pointed out that he was NOT using the C word? This is a different word that means something else? Maybe I misunderstood the whole thing? From Our Friend The Urban Dictionary: Cunty 256 up, 138 down A word generally associated and used in gay society. It means an overwhelming feeling of self-conceit or cockiness. Associated with many feelings, usually of being a bitch, cocky, conceited, arrogant, obnoxious and the list goes on. I'm feeling cunty! Ohh she is FIERCE!, cunty! That bitch is being really cunty today... jmo but this word sounds the same whether or not gay or straight -- C**T is C**T -- Leila needs to talk with him  ETA: BUT, when I read the interview, I thought, "Oh, Adam" and it cracked me up which suprises me as I hate the word -- he can do no wrong .....save me. |

The Chicago Tribune is notoriously tough---4.5 stars is amazing!!! And yay for 4/4 stars from People! I see this magazine EVERYWHERE. And People loves to give Idol alums the standard 2.5 rating. So happy!!!
Moving up to #2 on Amazon is a great sign. That has to people buying off the great buzz this album is getting.
And all of this without a hit single pushing it. If Adam can open at #1 and continue to get such amazing reviews (well, he has already got the "big" ones in the can), I think te album will make major waves.
