Not that I know, but wouldn't they have already factored idol into their projections? and Carrie being on DWTS too? No they would not be factoring in Idol. They totally go by a numbers equation of what their retailers say now X # of days left, etc. and make a prediction. HDD might not even know about Idol. It does not enter their equation.  Okay! Maybe there is a chance of #1 debut! Wish I could know the answer now instead of waiting till next week. I'm the person who reads the end of the book first! |

Any thoughts about the Idol production of NCOE tonight? Will Adam sing the song as we have been hearing it live so far? I don't think there will any major changes since the song is so new at this point.

I just read somewhere that Justin Bieber's fanbase has been promoting Trespassing on twitter. I don't have twitter, so I'm a bit clueless. Maybe that's another factor in Adam's fantastic stay at the top of itunes etc. I really hope so - he was so classy, the way he refused to diss Justin. And he has been so supportive of so many other artists. I think it's really important for him to have that "debuted at No.1" line in his bio. My gut (and only my gut) is telling me it's going to happen.

The Chicago Tribune is notoriously tough---4.5 stars is amazing!!! And yay for 4/4 stars from People! I see this magazine EVERYWHERE. And People loves to give Idol alums the standard 2.5 rating. So happy!!! Moving up to #2 on Amazon is a great sign. That has to people buying off the great buzz this album is getting. And all of this without a hit single pushing it. If Adam can open at #1 and continue to get such amazing reviews (well, he has already got the "big" ones in the can), I think te album will make major waves. Your words make me very happy!!  |

I would have thought that prognosticators would factor in big television events....then again it makes sense that HDD would sick to hard data coming in from retailers. Oh he's gotta slay on IDOL!! Hehe There is really no way to calculate the Idol performance and what it will mean in terms of sales because it all depends on the artist and the audiences reaction to it. HDD will do a revised prediction as more data comes in from retailers. I think he's gonna kill it on Idol and he's gonna get a big boost. He's one of the most popular idol contestants and when the audience gets to see him perform they respond with their support. |

I want to commit bigamy with Trespassing the album , I want to have it everywhere with me even in my dreams... eventually more and more will lose their minds like a maniac.... first week sales will be cuckoomanic figures ... we will be surprised... not really... I want to cross the line.... |
