Over the past year, besides taking time to write and record the album, I’ve had a lot of downtime, which has been really nice, to live a real life again — or what seems like one — and I think that really informed my writing process and experience making the album. Q: How did that affect your creative process? A: Coming back to real life was a bit of shock. You kind of have to decompress, and I had some failed romantic situations, and I was a bit tired and worn out, so at the beginning, there was some darkness I was working through, which was great. It was real. It was visceral. Then, I got in my relationship, I started relaxing and having more time to myself with my friends and wanting to go out again. more Q&A..

Is anybody else excited about Idol tonight? LOL. Just kidding.
I couldn't find it on the web, but a Texas singer-songwriter wrote a song a few years ago that seems apropos this morning. It's a funny, touching tribute to the people he was singing for, and the chorus goes like this:
Bless the people who read People Magazine,
Bless the soap opera lovers, bless the home-town bowling team,
Bless everybody everywhere who's ever lost a dream,

I wonder what his vision is? Have we heard exactly when the NCOE video will be ready? I think next week.. Geez I know more about Adam than my own family. I'm so excited for Adam that I'm getting up at 4:00 am ,usually I get up at 5:00 LOL to run to Adamtopia. Hahah Mellie so cute I think in this pic the big panda is in the middle of gittin' her Adam fix and its a... focused event.  |

Billboard reports that the album is currently on course to hit the top spot in the Billboard 200 when the chart is announced next week (May 23). However, Lambert is set to come across some fierce competition, with the album expected to sell only 70,000 to 80,000 copies by Sunday (20 May). If it does reach the expected amounts – and hits No.1 – then it will be the smallest sales sum at the top of the chart since last August when Adele’s ’21′ sold 76,000 units. As previously reported, Lambert revealed recently that ‘Trespassing’ is also at the top of the US iTunes chart.
