[groans] Damn. I was actually hoping for an edit. I will admit before I became a mom I totally eyerolled at radio edits. But now that I have a little kid - who doesn't possess filters - it gets a little cringeworthy having her sing ALL the lyrics without any considerations of the "kid appropriateness" of what she's singing. And while she may not literally know what "fuck" means (other than something daddy mutters in traffic), she sure is capable of singing it loudly on a song she likes. And as much as we both love the Cuckoo song, that lyric really isn't appropriate coming from a nursery-schooler. Not quite sure what I'm going to do yet........ I'm quite surprised that there's no language warning anywhere on Trespassing, not on iTunes either. Hoppers, give me the word and I can make a clean version of Cuckoo if you like Of Trespassing too if you think you need it. If you could, that would be awesome. Both me and my hopping ball of frentic energy thank you.

Adam slayed it on AI, vocally, visually, in all ways possible, it was the triumphant display of artistic excellence and a marketing touche. He used maximally every second of the precious TV time: he promoted the single, the album, the band, and his royally neon gorgeous self. And all the time: 'omg, he's so beautiful' kept running through my head. When he stands still, when he's quiet, his beauty is striking and obvious from a mile away. But when these features are set in motion, he simply shines. He belts out these notes which must demand physical strain and how he manages to look even more beautiful is beyond me. Not a single misshaped feature, not a single angle of his face or body short of stunning at any time. He's reaching the realm of perfection and I'm a little scared by that because it feels surreal, I wouldn't be surprised if he disappeared in a puff of smoke like some vision from 1001 Nights. Carmit's work as a creative director was sophisticated yet clear in its message. I liked when Adam approached every band member, thus pointing at their subtle Trespassing imagery and just breathing in movement into the performance. The colour scheme was spectacular. Ashley was hot as hell, I'm in love with that girl. The last image of Adam standing on the stage with that huge Trespassing image behind him, his suit and shirt matching the colours of the cover, his face reflecting the love and thrill flowing from the audience is a million-dollar worth of image. Both figuratively and literally, if you know what I mean. Beautifully said Aleksandra! I'm reading backward again in between RL and this post made me tear up. I puzzle so many times at my overwhelming love for this man and when others are feeling the same it gives credibility to my love. Adam Lambert is a joyous experience !!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!! If you have Real Player, you could edit the words out. You can put the whole cd on a playlist, substituting your edited version. Then burn a cd just for your daughter. The timing would be a hair off, but I dealt with that on the snippets - not too big a deal. Gonna have to look into this stuff harder.... May need to fix that initial line from DTRH in GNL too. I always have to skip that one in the car and I don't wanna.

American Idol 11: Top 3 Elimination Recap, Adam Lambert and Lisa Marie Presley (seriously?) www.homorazzi.com/article/american-idol-11-jessica-sanchez-phillip-phillips-final-two-joshua-ledet-eliminated-lisa-marie-presley-video-adam-lambert-recap/ via @homorazzi Next up is Adam Lambert- whom I actually would like to meet one day to see if he’s as nuts as the tabloids make him and his insane boyfriend/fiancee/husband(?) out to be- who performs “Never Close Our Eyes“. Oh lord, the scary robot eyeball is back that tried to eat Jessica during her performances last night and haunts this entire song. Lambert as per is 100% energy and angry gay rock and I love it: the song isn’t exactly my cup of tea but that he is unique and his own style makes me smile. His blacklight, neon yellow and too-tall hair and prostitute verging amount of makeup never exactly “gets me going” but this kid performs like a mofo every time he’s on stage and kudos to him. This one is wroth the view and definitely shows up a lot of the dated crap we’ve had this year. LOL prostitute verging make up? WUT?
