How about this for the official Trespassing tour Glambert dress code: - Yellow socks
- Black sandals
- Yellow harem pants
- Black/yellow leopard + stars print long-sleeve shirts/blouses
- Pink sombreroIt will be glorious my ladies!   nationalglampoon... You know I love you and imma let you finish (and I'm pretty sure you're just joking), but... In my entire life I've never owned anything yellow. EVER!!! The only thing I'll do is yellow glowsticks. ;D  |

I had to run an errand over toward the east side of Dallas, in Mesquite, which tbh probably leans more country. The highschool kids are usually in cowboy boots/jeans. I saw a Best Buy so I ran in to check the stock #cray and I was so disappointed because there were many copies of the deluxe at the New Release area and the end caps. I stopped a young guy nearby and held up a copy of TP deluxe. I asked him who was in charge of the music area and he said the lady was out to lunch but he helped her stock. I said I was really surprised that there were so many of these (holding up Trespassing Deluxe) and he said: WAIT FOR IT.... we just restocked 30 minutes ago. I said, ok I see, how many did you have to start with. He said THREE HUNDRED. I said, really, ARE YOU SURE? He looked at me funny and said, yes, I'm positive, we got 2 big boxes in on Tuesday. I said, and you ran out? He said yes, that's been selling like crazy. EEEEP!    I joined your team yesterday, and there I stay. 100 000 and above it is  |

Welcome back to Austin mwp! Hope we get to meet sometime.  Loved your recap and especially this: I have to laugh, a little, and shake my head at Adam's insistence that "glitter is dead." As peeps have pointed out, reviewer after reviewer has celebrated the return of glitter and glam with this album. It's not about a little face-paint, or a few sequins. It's about that charismatic sparkling persona that comes out even in the recorded music. You can take the boy out of the glitter, but you can't take the glitter out of the boy. And when Adam is on stage he shines like he's made out of solid diamond. Poor kid can't help it. Sorry Adam. ;D |

This sounds great and I'm not doubting it's veracity but I guess I'm just skeptical about how these individual stories effect the bottom line. I'm going to keep my expectations at the 70-80k that HDD said and hope that's enough for #1. If it turns out that this really is indicative of what's happening all over, then I will be thrilled! I'm floored by this story....my Walmart got in maybe 10 Standard CD's. (They brought them out to me saying that's all that was in the box - and no deluxe - or so they said :  . This Target was shipped 300?!! Also....he (stock boy) said they received 300 and had just re-stocked. (They didn't put 300 out on the floor). Still....sure hope it's indicative of the demand! :D Edit/ HDD has the reports of how well Trespassing is selling, they didn't up their forecast. I'm just crossing my fingers for a number 1 debut (don't really care about the number sold). |
