Acknowledging the instrumentalists is a time honored tradition in musical theater. I'm sure Adam had that drilled into him as a child, just as your parents taught you to say "please" and "thank you." Having played in a pit orchestra myself, I know that is an anonymous and largely thankless task. All of the work, and none of the attention. Those acknowledgments from the cast during curtain calls were highly gratifying. Adam knows that. It is more than worth the couple of minutes it takes. The good will goes a long way, especially when you are a perfectionist who is exacting and insists on lots of rehearsal and sound checking. Plus, imagine how easy it is for instrumentalists to sabotage a performer if the performer has treated them like dirt or lucky recipients to be allowed to accompany such a "star." I just wanted to mention to those of you who are having computer trouble on the thread that I was too and I finally switched to Firefox and I have had no more problems. No problems for me on Firefox either.. ETA: Thanks for all the fantastic pics from KTUphoria, Wal!  Sounds like it was a fun concert. |

With people reporting in on TP availability from shopping excursions, it struck me how often I was asked if I wanted help at the three places I went (when I can never get help when I want it btw) - WalMart, Target and Best Buy. Looking back I realize it was because I stood and stared at the rack for an unnaturally long time because of my inner dialogue. -There are only 2/3 deluxe left - I want to get them but then they'll be out. -Well, that's okay, I AM buying them after all. -But what if it discourages some casual/impulse fan from buying TP at all? -I could buy standard as gifts but I don't want to because the bonus tracks are essential. But I don't want buyers after me to miss out on the bonus tracks either - or maybe they'll decide not to buy at all or will, but then won't know how great the whole album is. - Maybe I should just order them. But would those still count as first week sales? IDK. (It actually went quite a ways on from there. No wonder the adolescent employees thought I was having a stroke. I think I'm with Seoulmate's gifs on the toll fandom is taking on me.)  I bet your not the only one. #ShitAdamStansThink |

OK, let me get this right and beat this subject one last time: Correct my thinking and please let me know: Digital and physical Trespassing count the same for BB numbers? Trespassing Reg and Deluxe count the same for BB numbers? If that is all true and I want to get a last purchase in before the cut-off tonight where should I purchase - has to be online? Adam performance seemed much tighter tonight:-) and yes, hope we get picture of vid of the gal on Adam, Lucky.... I would DL at either AO or i-Tunes |

So when do they post the Billboard and iTunes results for this week? Sorry if this has already been asked. I got here late and haven't read the beginning of the thread. Billboard chart will be out on Wednesday. But we will know the #1 album from the building sales chart on Monday and Tuesday (it builds as sales are reported.) Billboard 200 is the only chart that matters this week. There are no iTunes charts for the week -- there is no iTunes "chart". |

Thanks Mys*&@^#r. I think I will do iTunes then just to help placement. Yeah, like my one big last minute gift purchase will take him to number one, LOL.
ETA: Oh yeah, when I went to iTunes and Adam banner came up and he shows as #2 in Music after Donna Summer and before TD ;D
