Hey guys !!!! great day today . ROYAL ALBERT HALL !!!!!!!! Is Adam the first Americam to sing in it ? idk if this has been discussed yet , but : 1906's George Lucas ??? what is that ? It's this movie. Got the info from twitter To clarify further, the quote was 1960s George Lucas, not 1906. That's a typo. THX1138 actually came out in 1971, but it developed from a student film that Lucas did in 1967.

Sorry, but I do not buy that radio people are looking at the audience and noticing what "older" women are wearing or not. A few fans dressing up or not at a handful of radio shows is not hindering Adam's radio play
Numerous DJ's have poked fun at Adam's older fans and not in a good way. A radio stations key demographic is 12-30. That's who they pander to. The quickest way to make a young singer a laughing stock really fast is to have a bunch of women old enough to be his mom continously show up at these radio concerts with various artists all decked out like they are going to a Halloween party. No one and I mean no one else is dressed like that. I don't understand how on one hand people say they would do anything for Adam then on the other sabotage his career. Yes, it is sabotage. Inadvertent but it is. Do you think a 16 or 20 year old is going say "cool, that grandmother over there likes Adam I think I'll check out his music.". It would look just as odd if a group of 60 something year old men showed up in support of Demi Levato with her face plastered all over their bodies. Younger fans say ewwwwww. RCA Ed tried to say it delicately and then not so delicately. It hurts Adam and in no ways helps. It's one thing at an Adam only concert but these mixed radio shows it hurts. Sometimes being supportive means stepping outside oneself. 1. Demi Levato is a 19 year old girl formerly on the Disney Channel whereas Adam Lambert is a 30 year old man who sings about sex. The difference is obvious. 2. As I stated earlier I go to A LOT of concerts from many different types of artists and I can assure you that Adam's fanbase does NOT skew older than say Katy Perry, Pink, Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, or even Carrie Underwood. (yes I've seen them ALL live). 3. Radio will use whatever excuse they need to not play someone they don't want to play and the "older fan" meme is just that, an excuse. Adam's music is current and relevant to what is being played in today's radio market regardless of who they THINK his fanbase is comprised of. 4. They poke fun of his older fans IMO because they can't poke fun of him being gay without feeling the wrath of a lot of people. Ageism is one of the few accepted prejudices left, along with being fat I guess. So fat and old is a double whammy. 5. Only in the U.S. is this meme even heard. Adam has a large and vocal and YOUNG international fanbase. He'll be fine whatever happens with radio here in the U.S.

Finns! Time to tune in NRJ. I didn't catch the very beginning but I assume NCOE was not placed that badly today. They just announced three next songs, no NCOE there. That leaves the top 3 or so... YAY!! It was number 1!!! :D Really?!!!
