#1 go go go - and I don't care if it's the lowest sales to reach #1 in recorded history. It would be an historic #1 and that's what will be remembered and noted. No one thinks about the margin of victory in the Super Bowl - they got the ring and that's what counts!!!!Squee on catch you all (much) later. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^[/b][/size] Got to use Reihmer's gif here Other than being #1 no body will care or remember the actual amount!

This week last year this was the top 2: CHART DATE: 05/23/2011 1 1 ADELE XL/COLUMBIA 136,585 -13% 21 -- 2 SEETHER WIND-UP 57,400 -- HOLDING ONTO STRINGS BETTER LEFT The number one DEBUT album only sold 57,400. So I think there is no shame to Adam's numbers because he is sure to beat that. I am so glad you found that! I was wondering what that number was last year. Really, Adele needs to go away and let others get their spot! She can stay in Top 10 for as long as she wants, but GTFO of #1!!!!!

Was this posted? I can't remember at 3 am lol markospapadatos.suite101.com/adam-lambert-album-review-trespassing-a407643Adam Lambert Album Review: "Trespassing"A review of Adam Lambert's sophomore studio album "Trespassing," which features the singles "Better than I Know Myself" and "Never Close Our Eyes." The Verdict In summation, there is no shadow of a sophomore slump on Adam Lambert's newest album. It garners an A rating. It showcases his raw and natural talent, as well as his vulnerability as an artist, and allows his listeners to 'trespass' into his musical world.Lambert's vocals are controlled throughout and he sings with a lot of soul. There are tracks on here that will inspire his fans to get up and dance, while others will certainly strike a chord in their hearts. He is able to hit the high notes and make this challenging task seem effortless. Finally, he deserves yet another round of applause for co-writing and producing such a personal and unique musical project. If you took Adele out of the equation, there would have been 8 other weeks this year (2012) where the #1 album sold between 70-80K or less. It's not that Adam has the lowest selling #1, it's the fact that Adele is skewing all the stats for the last year.

The media better not ruin his #1 by harping on "low sales" In other news, my Target is now completely sold-out of the deluxe version with about 7 standards left. Looks like they may have only gotten 10-12 of each in. Does anyone know, do they generally restock at store like these when they may not sell a whole ton? Some Target stores got 40-50 copies others lesser amounts -- stores with low selling music departments get 12 reg and 4 deluxe. Target restocks music once a week. The restocking is done based on a predictive model and sales are part of that model. -- And yes, the press will report on the low sales number for a #1. It is newsworthy. It is not a record, and will not be close. BUT in 2008 the lowest selling #1 album sold 390,000 units. Then the bottom fell out. music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart-watch/chart-watch-extra-what-a-turkey-the-25-worst-selling-1-albums.htmlYes, it will be reported. If Trespassing sells 80K (high side of estimate), it will be far below Adam's debut at 198K and that will also be reported. -- Anyway -- How can a press report ruin anything? #1 is #1. FYE is close to selling 2 million worldwide. Trespassing is selling all over the world. It will feed into a bigger tour for Adam. Tours are where the money is being made. I am reminded of one of my favorite expressions --- "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Eleanor Roosevelt The Adamtopia version of this should be... "No one can diminish your opinion of Adam's accomplishments and talent without your consent." And I am not giving mine. Why are fans so concerned about what a reporter thinks or what a random online poster thinks or what a DJ in another market thinks? I love Trespassing. The music will not be any better if it sells 70K or 100K. And eventually, more and more people will recognize that Adam is brilliant. -- Adam is tracking to a #1 album rejoice in it. Why think about a possible dark side of that? Today has been one of the best days in the 3+ years I have been following Adam. Not my opinion. It is based on facts: 1. Adam will be singing in f'ing Royal Albert Hall. 2. Trespassing will be #1 in sales by all the best evidence. 3. We have another new promo concert which means a future add for Adam. 4. Adam was a hit at the RS weekly lunch. 5. NCOE got 4 HAC adds today 6. Read #2 again. I am sure I have forgotten something because so much is happening but seriously -- this has been a good day.

Just wanted to thank you all for your well wishes. It warms my heart, and I feel fortunate to be here, as it was so severe, I could have had a miacardial infarction ( heart attack) or stroke, possiby both).
I went to the emergency room on Sunday with atrial fibrillation. Basically that is the atral valves are misqueing the ventricles and you have 4 valves doing their own thing, which is heart attack time. My heart rate was off the chart, and my blood pressure way up there too. So I was rushed and had everything hooked up and they were feeding me meds to bring it all down. They did not stop the fibrillation until Monday evening, 36 hours later.
After many major tests, they determined that I have a heart flutter, that can easily be cured with cautaurizing a ring at the mitrol valve using a probe thru the the leg 99% cure rate. This is right side atrium as opposed to left side atrium. I caught a break. I still have several tests to be done this week as an outpatient, and 2 alternatives to consider to permanently fix my heart flutter.
I feel fortunate to be on this forum this evening, as my mother had her first heart attack at age 53 and survived. I made it to 63, and my awareness saved me. I live to make it another day and listen to Adam music and will see his face next Sunday in DC, and the the UK trips.
I feel fucking fortunate and loved. Thank you all !!!!
