Could this also be the 1st Billboard No 1 album ever for an artist singing their original work who is getting very little radio play to support their sales? Maybe Bob Dylan? Hard to think of another. No, that kind of thing happens all the time. ( BA- before Adele) It's definitely happened with a bunch of Idols, teeny artists, Josh Groban types, or people like Subo. |

Q3, I cannot wait till page 1 tomorrow. In fact I look forward to your page one every single day. every day, I read page one at least once, no matter how busy I am, no matter what else is happening, page one gets my attention. This is my most very favorite Adam fan site and has been since the moment it began.
I'm with you about the damn numbers stuff. Who cares? It does not matter. Adam is a fucking superstar. This album has layers of sound. He is freaking brilliant. People will be discovering and loving this album for many years to come.
Between the RS review, the NPR spot, and now the Royal Albert Hall invitation, it is all too good. Oh, and my neighbor is coming back at the end of this week. I am celebrating that big time.

All this talk reminds me of the great scene at the end of "My Cousin Vinny." I can't find it on line, but it is so funny: Mona Lisa: So what's your problem? Sorry, missed that particular qualifier. John Mayer will get the #1 spot next week. He currently has a debut song that made it four spots higher than BTIKM did on the HAC charts. |
