Adam was fantastic tonight. I'm uploading my videos now but, again, they won't be done until tomorrow morning. They are also worse than the ones from KTUphoria. The spotlights wash out Adam completely from the distance where I was. Also, the crowd was incredible. I was standing on a riser and everyone was jumping and dancing so much that I was actually bouncing up and down and I was standing still trying to keep the camera steady. Everyone was screaming for him and dancing everywhere. They also sang along to the entire WWFM. It was a beautiful thing. Even though the video is gonna suck, I'm hoping that you'll be able to hear the audience reaction. Lots of sound problems tonight. Adam kept shaking his mike at the sound guy. He also kept standing next to the monitors to listen until he was satisfied he could hear. I don't think the audience even realized what he was doing because he's such a pro. I had a lot of young teenage girls around me and they were really into Adam. I also had three little ones near me, probably around 9 to 12 years old who were screaming their heads off and dancing like crazy. Tonight, everybody loved Adam. This boy was built to play arenas. I think this is the last time I'll attempt to video. I'm crap at it. I'm sure we'll get some great video from this show because everyone was taking video. I'll post tomorrow because I have to get some sleep. I timed my round trip to Philadelphia by listens to TSP Deluxe. I got to listen to it twice each way. CONGRATULATIONS TO ADAM - NO. 1
Thanks for videoing -- it's really hard, I've tried too. For some reason it always feels like they turn out better then they actually do. The cool thing is that the videos at least let one capture the mood of the performance and I for one truly appreciate any effort. Thanks!

BTW finns YLEX will air that Adam interview tomorrow: (this is what "Sippo" said at their facebook page) "Haastattelu tulee kokonaisuudessaan huomenna Uuden Musiikin Iltavuorossa (17-19) -Sippo"

Bringing over from yesterday's thread... WHOOPS!! Sorry... this was supposed to be a happy, positive thread. So, I'm going to post one of virg1877's most beautiful pics!!
Question about the ear thingies: Adam seems to have many pairs of these ear things, I don't know what they're actually called. Are they his or do they correspond with the venues sound system? What does he hear in them actually? They're ear monitors. Adam hears in them a specialized sound feed that he requests from the sound board. Which is why its so important that whoever is sitting at that board actually provides the mix he needs. I'm guessing its a combination of his own voice, muted instrumentals, with only a touch of crowd noise allowed in the background. Otherwise, since they also act as ear plugs to protect his hearing (I think the professional ones can reduce up to 40 db), he would probably hear only his own breathing and bone-conducted singing. Its why monitors are so tricky to use. A singer is completely dependent on the sound board to "tell" them what they, and everyone around them, sound like. But its the only way to protect from the hearing loss rampant in the previous generation of Rock-n- Rollers. It also alleviates feedback and other issues associated with floor monitors (which is the other way a band can hear themselves over the roar of a crowd).

I have a question. I read at the end of yesterday's thread that TP was being sold at the Springleball show. I recall someone on this site saying once that albums sold at concerts are not included in soundscan count. Is that still true? It completely depends on whether the venue feels like going through the effort of reporting the sales. However, they the wholesale purchase of those albums for sale at the venue *does* count towards gold/plat/whatever even if the retail sales are not recorded.
