www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/adamlambert/view/47294/Adam Lambert's Billboard 200 midweek No.1 with 'Trespassing' confirmed Earlier this afternoon (May 23) Billboard.com confirmed the midweek chart positions and revealed that Adam Lambert's sophomore offering, 'Trespassing', has secured the No.1 spot. Nielsen SoundScan explained that 77,000 copies of the record were sold. Pressparty reported last night (May 22) that this impressive feat had made him the first openly gay recording artist to have an album debut at No.1 in America and now that his midweek success has been locked in he can celebrate the incredible achievement. Brian London, Lambert's new musical director, also congratulated him on the fantastic news: "Congrats to the Homie @adamlambert for a #1 album! TRESPASSING!! You made history dude!!" joemygod.blogspot.com/2012/05/adam-lambert-becomes-nations-first-out.htmlWEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 2012 Adam Lambert Becomes Nation's First Out Performer With #1 Billboard Pop AlbumGay performers have had numerous #1 albums, of course, but none of them hit the top spot again after they came out. Billboard has the numbers: For the first time, one "American Idol" replaces another at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as Adam Lambert's "Trespassing" debuts atop the list with 77,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. His arrival bumps last week's leader, Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away," down to No. 3 (54,000; down 55%). Lambert is the seventh "American Idol" finalist to reach No. 1, following Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Underwood, Chris Daughtry (of Daughtry) and Scotty McCreery. RELATED: Last month I chatted with Lambert at an industry meet-and-greet to support the new album. Nice guy, chatty, and not a hint of rock star 'tude.

They were involved in the song "Pop That Lock". Underneath, Pop that Lock, and Runnin wal and nationalglampoon were both right. Robert Marvin didnt co-write Underneath, just collaborated on it :-/ I cant believe how much I mess up with EVERYTHING related to Adam. I love that man but I know nothing about him....

Melinda @kittyglitty @milestougeaux @adamlambert Does he ever actually listen to ur input? lol He seems the 'do it my way' type.
Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux .@kittyglitty Lets just say that my suggestion of a cello in the bridge of one (unused) song got a cringe from everyone in the room.
