This is all magical to me. Adam debuting at #1, getting crazy accolades from all over the industry, all over the Internet. I fucking love him and am so happy for him right now. I love this album more every day and am beginning to have moments of impatience for the tour. Maybe a little bit of withdrawal as i have not seen Adam live for 18 months. That is a very long time. I need me some live Adam.......and all these radio station shows are very far away.

Hi guys. Tonight was the first time I've read the daily news in about 4 days. I am kinda proud of myself actually. I am embarrassed how badly my RL suffers from my stanning.
So what's come over me? IDK but I think it is in part the "beautiful release" I feel about Adam's place in history. I am not worried about him going unnoticed anymore so I can stop the constant vigil. I feel such a sense of calming. I believe Adam has found his place in the music world. He has made his mark. He will not be forgotten. I can stop this internal fight between my light and the dark side.
But the funny thing is that my expectations of Adam conquering the Universe this round have dropped. I am at peace with the fact that he may not be recognized to the extent he should (which of course is unquantifiably high). But, he has been recognized. By the critics, by his peers, by those in the industry, by his label, by fans of other performers... I think that, just like ATop has innumerable lurkers, so Adam has quiet respect. He has the whole package that, really, is impossible to not see (get your minds out of the gutter, I am trying to be heartfelt!). After this album makes some more waves, after the ripples of Queen, the recognition of Adam is going to grow around the world--and people will have to acknowledge his skills or risk being as obviously biased as the EW reviewer. Slower than it should, but it can not be stopped now.
And I think that's enough, even for Adam. He didn't buy that house, as he really had no idea what his future income would be. He is grateful and down to earth and smart. He just wants to make music into the future and be heard. I am confident that this he has accomplished. I bet he is taking a big sigh of relief now. I know I am! I may have found a way to not obsess on ATop quite so much but it isn't because my love for him, or you guys, has diminished. It's just...I guess it's a little like quietly wallowing in the afterglow.
Sorry...That got wordy.

www.villagevoice.com/2012-05-23/music/midyear-report-12-for-12/Midyear Report: 12 for '12A dozen of the best singles from the year so farBy Maura Johnston Wednesday, May 23 2012 The year is nearly halfway over, and in an effort to keep up, I've been crafting a Spotify playlist containing the notable albums that have come out this year. Even though there are six months and change to go, it has surpassed the 3,000-track mark. Here are 12 songs that have risen to the top of that massive heap, arranged in something resembling a playlist order. (To hear the tracks, check out the Voice's music blog, Sound of the City.) .. Adam Lambert feat. Sam Sparro and Nile Rodgers, "Shady." American Idol's superstar runner-up pays homage to "Superstition" and Chic with this slinky slow-burner of a track, which has a star turn from Rodgers on guitar.

So much berty, delicious goodness today that it's been hard to keep up.
Mr. Adam F. Lambert is one class act from his adorably cute toes to the tip of his gravity defying hair.
I take my hat off to this incredible soul who brings all of us so much joy. My day (which spans two daily threads) has been equal parts of cheesy huge grins, fuck yeahs! and happy tears.
I am so very proud to have been part of his incredible journey leading up to this pinnacle (so far ) of his FIRST #1 album. I feel it so deeply that the ~universe has such a special plan for this enlightened being. I just do.
Gah! getting all teary eyed again :
Thank you to all who bring da goodies here thank you Q3 for the fabulosity that is Atop, welcome all newbies, happy birthday to those celebrating and above all HAPPY #1 BERTDAY to all of us The first of many ;D ;D ;D

We laughed, we cried, we squeeeed, we flailed, but did we go to Charity Water and donate even a few bucks, and thank Adam for the album and congratulate him for being an historic #1?!!
Well, not very many of us... At 10:23 PM pacific time only 6 peeps have congratulated him in this way!
Let's get Runnin', Runnin, Runnin' over to Charity Water and meet that donation goal set oh so long ago. Currently the total is $81,634. We are all proud of Adam, why is it so difficult to reach this goal? It's OK if all you can give is $2, $3, $5 or $10! Just keep spreading the word, donate a bit; we'll get there!
peace&love

OMG!!!! #1 Warning LATE FLAIL!! My camera lens jams. It gets all excited to see Adam and will not retract in. After turning it off and on about 100 times and banging it hard on my leg, it retracted back in. So had to be extra careful not to completely have it fully zoomed. Very frustrating.
