I was listening to some show on the VH1 classic TV station a few days ago. They had on some members of some older rock bands and one of the guys mentioned how the music business has changed. He said it use to be that every song had a place on the whole theme of the album. There were no fillers and you didn't have to to worry about getting radio play for that one song to chart. All songs were important to the flow of the album and were equally important. What he said sure reminded me of things Adam has talked about with his album. A theme and a cohesiveness of songs on his album. Adam...the modern edgy artist with an old rock soul.
Love this!

Q3 I'm a bit confused,no I'm very confused about the sale numbers on trespassing.. Digital sales 29,000. BB 77,000. were they added together? Or are they separate. Did Adam actually sell 0ver 100,000 units of the album? The 29,000 digital units are in the 77,000 total units. So he sold 29,000 digital albums and 48,000 CDs. Digital sales are higher than expected and that is a very good thing. Brick and mortar music departments will probably be mostly gone in the US before we get Adam #3 (assuming that is 2 years). I really hope that is not true, about the brick and mortar music departments going away. I always want to have the physical music, and it would be nice to be able to buy it at the store.

[grins; looks inside lolly bucket] Ya want one with or without your usual embedded scorpion? HSM where are tequilla shot lollies? Sex on the Beach lollies? Kamakazi lollies? Boilermaker lollies? this calls for an all out bang up celebration with heavy hitters, in my very humble opinion. ;D I wuz going for a yellow-and-dark trespassing theme (with some celebratory champers and karmic kremes to round things out), but I can bring out the liquored lollies if needed!
