jesslala... THANK YOU SO MUCH for your recap!!! I loved your descriptions of the young kids screaming and dancing during Adam's set! We always appreciate the vids you post, but please don't feel bad if you don't want to do vids anymore! Just have fun and ENJOY!!! If your shoulders are killing you and you're being launched off risers by bouncing teenagers.... it's not worth the angst!!!

No, he probably won't; he's got 2 days off, right? that means boyfriends in NYC, yay!! ;D I think we all decided that he's growin' the Melvin again, so it'll be a weekend of stubble burn. :  :

Ok lovin the slightly unshaven stubbly look - it is HOT (and I hardly ever comment on these things)...  No, bridgey, you RARELY comment on what's hot and what's not, so it must be ESPECIALLY HOT!!!! LOL ETA: Now, if he could keep it exactly like this... like a "Melvin shadow" I'd be a happy camper.  |

Delurking for a moment to add my congratulations to the guy whose album debuted at #1 this week! Take it in, Adam. Take it all in!!! It's Karma, I tell ya!  As for me, after catching up on all the goodness today ( yesterday - whatever) I can't wipe the smile off my face - when I'm not tearing up.  I'm just a freakin' pool of Abdul!  |

Okay, I want to share a little story with you guys. My tennis buddy is a true rock chick (actually, alternative rock), and she'd never watched IDOL till that night when Adam sang "ring of fire". She went "WTF! who is that? and he's on American Idol???" Anyway, she lost interest when she found out that Adam was going pop. So, I got her "FYE" and she was like "what a waste of talent!" Again, this week I got her "TSP"(I can be very stubborn), and tonight before our match started, she said to me, "guess what? I like it, the album. not your typical pop album, it's ballsy and got soul! But, still waiting on that full-on rock album." (laughs)
This further validates my belief in "TSP", now we just need people to hear it. Fingers & toes crossed, all the deals RCA has made with the "devil" will come through!!
