Hi guys, delurking for a moment... and i think Rhi Rhi gave a shout-out to our Adam too... I'm not sure if it's our Adam, but at the end of her show she said 'I Love You, Adam!' I thought I heard that, too, but I'm so Adam-centric, I can't tell when I'm hallucinating. |

I thought so too at first; then realized she said "I love American Idol!" (and welcome from one lurker to another  ) ETA: Actually, I think it was "I love you, Idol!" |

OTT But why does JLo get to perform in the idol finale, except to further her career. Bastard judges, didn't judge, but performed at least 3 times this season. I'm with you, Smokey. It's like everyone is on for some type of promotion--just like product placement. This must be excruciating for the two finalists. Idol producers are trying so hard, but there is no magic. ETA: even the engagement has product placement. I agree It's very annoying to have the judges take so much time to promote themselves. IMHO, the good part about the show tonight is their showing just how many impressive singers they have launched. For all those in the music business who think Idol isn't legit.. Pop music and country have quite a few #1 Idol singers on the Billboard Charts. Plus Jennifer Hudson winning an oscar . Our Adam being the latest star with a great album and a blazing career in front of him.Idol is a family and that's what I'm taking out of the show tonight. To add ,they are really pulling out all the stops tonight , Better than the AMAs. It's just that a lot of the time the best singers don't win. |

Thanks Mys*&@^#r, Seoulmate, and Murly for your thoughts on the lack of enthusiasm for Charity Water. I know many people have tight finances, yet there are many others traveling to radio Springleballs and concerts. So I feel it is only a money issue for some people, for others, their hearts just aren't into using Charity Water as a way to mark the happy occasion of Adam being #1 on the Billboard 200. Indeed, a tweet from Adam would help. I doubt he'll do that, though, at least not any time soon. And, yes, it is disappointing that so few people have used Charity water as a way to celebrate the historic #1. I'll probably remind for a bit longer, but since the idea isn't catching on I'll let it go before long. Thanks and Muah! to all those who tried to get the idea going.
