...and I'm for getting rid of the karma thing. The stars are fine. They simply indicate how much you post (50 posts earns a second star?) The forum staff (mods, admin) gets different stars so we know who they are. Stars are fine, they serve a purpose. |

OT again sorry Ok! this is new to me! i know it's old...dunno how i missed this! makes me melt! it is fitting on how far he has come today tho!  Thank you so much for posting that . I hadn't watched it for some time but it absolutely did the same to me. I wonder if I forget just how perfect he sounded, almost always, and don't watch as frequently as they all deserve. I think I need to revisit Upright Cabaret  |

I'm such a nervous wreck over Adam and the Grammy.. Going to an early movie,1:00 to take my mind off the above. I wish the Grammy committee had set up an award for MJ in his name to honor him and then let others compete for best vocals.I just don't want to end up in bed ,like I did with AI after Adam didn't win.:He so deserves this prize he's totally the best singer.. Am I Too invested?too Crazy? OK exercise,shower,movie and then glued to TV into the long night. Hugs to all at Adamtopia

In the US it's even at no. 2!!   This is actually number 1 because the one before it is a promo trend. It is put there by Twitter. I haven't caught up on the thread yet, but it is currently #3. ACK! I am only on page 4 and the pages multiply faster than I am reading! Slow down you guys! |

My vote is for getting rid of the karma points, and keeping the stars, I loved the stars at PF, was always exciting to upgrade to a new level.
I was thinking about today's Grammys, and where we and Adam were last year. Adam was a fashion reporter for E! (I think) and talked to all the ladies about their dresses. He attended the Grammys, but got there late cause of his reporting duties.
This year, he is OPENLY GRAMMY NOMINATED!!!
What a difference for him since last year. I always wondered why he took that fashion reporting assignment, I kind of thought that he thought maybe he had blown his music career out the window after the AMA's. But, maybe he just thought it would be fun, fashion monger that he is. Also, I didn't really like his look last year.
Well, this year is going to be a whole other story! He looks fabulous, hot, chic, classy, and as sklar said last night:
Adam has entered his ravagingly dashing Rhett-Butler-Gone-Subtly-Steam-Punk stage.
He has also entered this year as the world acclaimed best singer out there stage. He got a shout out from Clive Davis last night at the party, top billing on all the news coverage of the party.
I'm sure he will be smokin hot and glamorous at the Red Carpet today, and we will get some shots of him in the audience at the Grammys telecast.
It is such a great day to be an OPENLY NOMINATED ADAM FUCKING LAMBERT fan!!!!

What are karma pointS? Awww my post count is soo low now and I had built it up to an impressive 40 or 50 at the old site. Damn. LOL. Love your Avi! _______________________________________________________ I left the stars and karma points just for fun. - obviously you are the master of this domain and your opinion is the dictatorial one for the most part... that is why I've asked to put this up for a vote..... as much fun as it is at the moment - it might intimidate new members and lurkers to come out and freely post. This applies to both Karma and the Stars... number of posts is a clear enough indication of participation level, no need to have a kindergarten level system of hanging a star on my cubbie....being that we are supposed to be a warm and welcoming place - these features are counterproductive. back to real KARMA - will be visualizing the great Grammy day and even greater Grammy night for our BB ! |
