Do you think this is a sign that MJ at least hasn't won ? It could be, or it could just be that they rotate the categories year after year except of course for the biggies like Record of the Year. Does anyone know for sure? (And even if MJ didn't win, Mars could have. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but I also don't want to get my hopes up and then have them dashed into the dirt!) |

After wasting 1 1/2 hrs on the live red carpet show I went to bed frustrated. What a treat to wake up today to gorgeous pictures! Yeah for Grammy Day!!!!!! I know we'll get more gorgeous pictures. I couldn't tear myself away until 3am ET, got up and was going to skip church but thought I'd better go and pray that Adam wins. I figure if people and the players can pray to win a football game I can pray that Adam wins a Grammy, can't hurt. I din't count on there being this many pages when I got back though. I really love you guys and am amazed at your sleuthing skills. |

I like your guess re: !OUTFIT! for tonight! Leather and lace last night, all rocker leather tonight! (maybe--hmmm, what's his mood?) And hair--the only other thing he could do is spike it up on top, right? I think he's wearing a tux, with some stellar accessories and his hair/look will be very much like last night – classic movie-star handsome. Hair back; minimal makeup. That's my bet too. No leather but an Adam-version of the classic tux. |

I don't think fans will whine and fuss on twitter if Adam doesn't win. At least I hope not. Adam has made it clear he doesn't expect to win. But it is always fun to dream and hope!  |

Any of you have a thought about what Adam's look for today might be? He said something about "putting things on a suit"
I loved last night's look...sending it to all my friends who think his look is too glam. I love all his looks because it is Adam.
I think he will be more "out there" tonight. What do other believe?

Do you think this is a sign that MJ at least hasn't won ? No, the producers of the GRAMMYs do not know who won any of the awards until the envelope is opened. Only a few people at Deloitte (the accounting firm that counts the ballots) know who won. This is a sign that the producers and Grammy governors do not see this category as one of the major categories or required for balance on the show. (It has not been on the TV show for years.) This show is intended to promote the music industry and get people to buy music. The awards are to recognize achievement. During the past 10 years, the show has become mostly about performances. ETA: JMHO -- Adam will prob not win the award. But, he will be in many post Grammy articles as "should have won". It will all be good. |

I never have paid much attention to red carpet fashion, but I do remember last year was more on the edgy side than tux. BEP men were leathered up. Many men had the rock/music flair instead of the tux movie-star look. I thought it was a lot more interesting than the Oscars.
