Do you think this is a sign that MJ at least hasn't won ? No, the producers of the GRAMMYs do not know who won any of the awards until the envelope is opened. Only a few people at Deloitte (the accounting firm that counts the ballots) know who won. This is a sign that the producers and Grammy governors do not see this category as one of the major categories or required for balance on the show. (It has not been on the TV show for years.) This show is intended to promote the music industry and get people to buy music. The awards are to recognize achievement. During the past 10 years, the show has become mostly about performances. ETA: JMHO -- Adam will prob not win the award. But, he will be in many post Grammy articles as "should have won". It will all be good. But they're doing best Pop Vocal Duo or Group and that category kind of sucks, IMO. All the other's beside the Top 4 seem to be for albums, which is understandable. Then there is Best Female Country Vocal. Best Pop Vocal, Duo or GroupDon’t Stop Believin’ (Regionals Version) Glee Cast Misery Maroon 5 The Only Exception Paramore Babyfather Sade Hey, Soul Sister (Live) Train I swear, if GLEE wins for doing a cover, I will ??? The great part is that Adam will be able to totally relax during the live telecast, no matter what happens. |

Good morning everyone! I've been mostly lurking due to real life. Does anyone have links to the vids where Adam talked about a "crazy suit he bought in Paris" as well as when he talked about spending a couple of days in Paris with a "special friend." I missed those! :-[ Thanks!

I am thinking that I will probably watch the Red Carpet on E!. The Grammylive livestream did not have any of the top people show up in their telecast last night.

Not even remotely caught up - I'm just posting because I've changed my avatar, and want to make sure nobody else already has it. 8-) Thanks, Q3, for taking such quick action when the other board went down - not only did you save the day, you saved the entire Grammy weekend! GORGEOUS avi, Boca...and Q3 you DID save the Grammy weekend! Thanks again! And re: expectations for tonight...can you guys even imagine what the thread would have been like yesterday and today if AFL HADN'T been openly-nominated? What would we be talking about? I am grateful every.single.day that he works so hard and maintains an attitude that draws good things to him...because we get to experience the ride with him!   |

My prediction is something from skingraft. Me too. With a 3/4 length jacket I haven't ruled out something from The Blonds. However, if the jacket wasn't ready a few days ago there is little time for shipping. So perhaps Skingraft it is. |

My prediction is something from skingraft. Me too. With a 3/4 length jacket My guess, as well. Skin Graft has many things that do not have any leather or are only trimmed in leather. I have also been thinking that he was there last week. It made some gossip site or twitter. While he was there, having tonight's suit fitted and customized, that's when he picked up the vest he wore at The Grove! Yup, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. |

Wow....finally got caught up! You guys are chatty, chatty!! haha! I just knew when I logged off last night - Adam pics would appear! :  Thanks for posting all the pretty, he looked Leading Man gorgeous! Happy to see the elimination of the karma points, too much of a popularity contest. I love everybody here equally!  I'm really excited to see what Adam will wear tonight. I don't expect a leather outfit, although I'm wondering about the SkinGraft references - hmmmm..... Hubby is leaving in an hour or two on a business trip - I'll be free to squee!! (I always feel guilty ignoring him). Love our new home!! (we're getting good at this moving bit, aren't we? Haha!) |

I just want to introduce myself to everyone. I lurked at Planet Fierce and at the old ATOP site for a long time. I found my way here because some of you had provided your twitter names and tweeted re the ALF "campsite". Thank you, thank you. I decided I couldn't risk losing this community, so I registered (finally). I may not post much, but I am here A LOT! Also, thanks to Q3 for taking such good care of us.
