To all who sent them, thanks for the greetings. Hoopla1, feel free to call me "J". Unfortunately, there is no interesting phrase behind "jiugiy." Years ago I found a piece of paper on the photocopier in the office where I worked. On it was the typed word "jiugiyvuvu." All I could think of was that an alien was trying to send a message. Since we know that Adam is an alien, I thought it apropos to use a shortened version of "jiugiyvuvu" as my moniker here. Well gotta go for now; a friend invited me to go out to lunch and I don't want to be gone long. BBL.

Whether or not Adam wins the Grammy, this last week has been a WIN WIN WIN for him (and us!)!!! You're right!! This has been a FANTASTIC week of feasting on delectable Adam goodness. I still believe he has a chance to win and am hoping for the best, but will not be surprised if he doesn't. His star is on the rise (thanks Clive!) and he's charming the pants off the press and the industry brass in the meantime. Him being mentioned as "the one who shoulda won" will also go very far in adding to his cred. IT IS A DAY FOR CELEBRATION, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!!!!I saw this pic tweeted early this morning and then forgot about it as I read the thread. I didn't see it posted; I loved it. It was posted by BettyGlambert; I don't know if she created it or not. ETA: LOL, I see that Gelly beat me to it as I was messing around with uploading the pic and posting.

I haven't ruled out something from The Blonds. However, if the jacket wasn't ready a few days ago there is little time for shipping. So perhaps Skingraft it is. If Idol can fly one shoe in from Europe for Adam, FedEx can get a suit from NYC to LA overnight 8-) What's this about one shoe? Musta missed this story! Details please

If Idol can fly one shoe in from Europe for Adam, FedEx can get a suit from NYC to LA overnight 8-) Huh? What's the story about the shoe? Curious mind wants to know... :D He told the story on both Larry King and Regis and Kelly. A manufacturer mistakenly sent two left feet on a pair of boots purchased for an Idol performance. When notified on the error they flew the right boot in from Antwerp. Transcript from Larry King (Ryan hosted):

followed the link on the old board and thought I'd register to join the celebration of Grammy day!
Hope Adam has a great time tonight!
I hope his look is classic hollywood glamour. Nothing OTT or crazy. I'd love to see him on the best dressed lists tomorrow!

rihannsu, I just love every single bit of your post I'm blushing. Can't find the blush smiley. Thank you so much. I don't post often because usually everyone else has said what I'm thinking first but this is something I've been thinking about for a while and nobody else has been commenting on it. It would be interesting to go back and study the evolution of the media's impression of the fans but I'm not that good at research. Rihannsu, I know you don't post often--but when you do, it really counts. Reminds me of something I think about sometimes--there are so many good posts on this site, every single day, some that never get commented on--but because of the abundance of good posts/comments, there is never time to comment on all. But ALL are appreciated. It's such a pleasure to be here!
