Great tidbit, thank you. I never heard of it before! I think it was those bronze boots Adam wore for the "So What" opening group number on Finale night. Miles Siggins and Adam I think also told Seacrest about it on his radio show. By the way, if anyone still has the radio link of when Adam went on Seacrest the day after the finale and was talking about the rhinestones - "I said just glue them on me, bitch!" - or something like that, I'd appreciate it. I was thinking it was the boots he wore with the long coat the second time he sang Mad World but I'm probably confused.....as usual. :-/

Love ya guys, but can't really deal with the experimentation and confusion today. (Just from a former web designer's perspective, I'd suggest very pale background colors if you want variety between posts, with black text for greatest readability).
I'll mostly be on twitter... whoo hoo! Adam!

I'd like to thank Adam not only for his incredible talent, style, and presence but for his dogged and consistent defense of his fanbase. During and right after idol the Glamberts were unfavorably compared to the Claymates ad nauseam. I don't think I ever heard anything positive about the Claymates from media. They were consider BSC and a severe detriment to Clay's career. Their reputation stunk to put it mildly. There were comparisons drawn between Claymates and Glamberts early on and interviewers in the beginning tried very hard to get Adam to denigrate his fans. Many celebrities tend to go along with the negative portrayal that the media likes to promote regarding BSC fans. Clay certainly didn't do anything of significance to defend his fanbase. Adam however never ever went along with this meme. He consistantly and determinedly defended his fans changing the interviewers characterization to passionate, loyal and loving and an important support of who he is as an artist. I noticed that it didn't take long at all for the most negative comments to subside and over time the fanbase portrayal in the media became more and more positive. I think the characterization of fans as older women took longer to subside than that of crazy people. In the last few months the media has more often than not used Adam's terms of passionate and loyal rather than crazy to describe the Glamberts but more importantly the tone of the comments have been that of awe and respect. We have become a big plus to Adam's career recognized as such by the media as well as being recognized as a force for good due to the charitable contributions that Adam has inspired. I truly don't think that shift would have happened had Adam not been so consistent in his defense of us. THIS !!!!!!!!!!! Kudos, well said.

I went into my profile and changed the skin to "light." It's a very light gray background, much easier on my eyes than the brilliant white - and no purple!! This is what I did & it's perfect. Did my duty for today - went to church and visited a sick friend. Now I'm going to pick up a sub for dinner and I'm all set to be glued to this spot for the rest of the day/night. Ah, yes!! Love the light background and gray gradient touches. The think I like about the white background is that we can play with ALL the font colors, whereas with PF, many didn't show up against the dark background. Okay, hauling my carcass out the door to go walking, then a shower, few quick errands and then GRAMMYS!!!!

Hi, Everybody!! Stepping out of the shadows....been lurking since PF's early days, but it's too exciting today to sit back there and just watch!! I changed my name here since my previous one was a little 'glitter-dated' and I want to keep up with the times.....and be forewarned: I do love me some dot-dot-dots... Enjoy reading everyone's thoughts, ideas, dreams...for both Adam and themselves...this is such a calming, loving place.....I feel like I've moved into a commune! I'll be watching tonight....and hoping for a win, but no matter the outcome, it's all good for AFL and for us!!
