What am I doing wrong? This is the third time I have tried to write this request. After I finished my posts I was editing for spelling errors, I put the cursor on a spot and my whole message just flew off the screen...twice! I am writing this request in a word doc and will paste to the reply box to avoid a repeat disappearing act. MY REAL QUESTION IS... Is there any soul out there who uses ImageShack to load your avi? I could use your help. You are welcome to pm me to keep our positive thread going!! In advance – my thanks! I tried Q3’s instructions yesterday and today and I am obviously doing something wrong. I open up Modify Profile I paste this Direct Link (below) from ImageShack ...to... Avatar URL box (idoes the link look okay?) img830.imageshack.us/i/adamawards.jpg/ I type in .... 100 by 100.... in the next 2 boxes Avatar width and height. I press “modify profile “ on the bottom left corner AND VOILA! Nothing Does the KB of a picture make a difference? The avi I used on the last site was 236KB, the link above is 78. I am using this other avi link today as imageshack has shunned me, and is discriminating against my pictures as it only likes to load a certain few. Yesterday imageshack worked fine! If the avi belongs to someone else ...please don't get mad at me...I am doing this strictly for learning purposes. The link that imageshack gives as your "Direct link" is only partially correct. What I did was paste that link into the browser window (the http thingy) when you hit enter, you will see what you are linking to, mine went back to image shack with the picture of my avatar showing there, I then used my mouse to right click on my avatar image, there is an option to "copy link or copy image location" and that is the one you want. Hope I explained that correctly. |

So, what do you think Adam will wear tonight? I'm guessing an all leather suit from Skingraft. Oh, but what about the hair? I'm going with the same as last night, just because I don't know what else he can do with it cut that way. I like your guess re: !OUTFIT! for tonight! Leather and lace last night, all rocker leather tonight! (maybe--hmmm, what's his mood?) And hair--the only other thing he could do is spike it up on top, right? I remember SkinGraft saying that they were working on a surprise outfit and have thought it must be for Adam. |

Finding black on purple kind of hard to read. I didn't do anything to my profile preference so I'm hoping this isn't a permanent change that I can't fix. Happened to me too! I went to my profile and changed my skin color from "default" to "light". All is right for me now. I need light background with black font... |

So what's the plan for today? 100 pages! This may get lost but for those people who were joining us in our shape-up weight-loss effort I've got a new thread going over in Fun and Games for our final Grammy weigh-in. Ooooooo....runs over to post. Feeling very svelte!  lovin' all the peeps delurking.....*waves.....and I particularly love YOU dontshakemytree....as, I too am a fan of ...the dots!!  ....back to Adam. Do we think he will appear on the red carpet pre non-televised awards?? Should I be watching at 3pm ET?? Seems like I remember Carrie Underwood coming out onto the pre-TV show Red Carpet after she had won her Grammy in the non-televised part. Or am I just dreaming this up?  |
