I think Adam wrote this one about his relationship with Brad why do you think it's about Brad specifically? It could be about a non-romantic relationship - like Monte because that was right around the time the whole BS with Monte was brewing. Because of the part about being wild in the jungle and owning the night, and about fantasy/reality, and taking back all the awful words, and about love/relationship dying. eta: "how do we take back what's been said?....I fed you a fantasy, but you been drunk on reality. All you want is to be wanted, long as you get it out of me. We used to be a jungle, sticky and wild, it used to be we owned the night. All the stupid games we're playing, al the shit that we been sayin'......Remember the first time we collided? We lost it, we lost it." Take Back lyrics This sounds like love relationship stuff to me.

Anyone who felt that I was saying something against Adam in this particular case is truly misguided. Adam is an extremely complimentary person who focuses on the positive. He navigates his way through things like this amazingly. He consistantly refuses to talk shit about others when baited. I am talking about the show, not Adam. It's weak. Andy Cohen is capable of more. It's just poor sportsmanship. Noone comes out stronger. But of course it's great bank. America loves watching people criticize each other like they love a good bloody car accident or Jersey Shore. At least on Jerry Springer the criticized person is invited on so they can respond and duke it out. Sorry to repeat a comment I made last night on the 'dead thread' ... I think this was the perfect show for Adam. The demographic for this show is just what Adam needs and reading his feed, he has a TON of new fanboys absolutely going crazy for him. Andy has a large gay following (as does Beth ... who, btw, is a good friend with one of Jake Shears bandmates, Anamatronic (sp?). No one was criticizing each other on the show ... Adam loved it ... great promo. (Jake Shears = Scissor Sisters = friend of Adam)

This kind of PCness is something that really gets under my skin. I think our society values a fake smile and sweet answer over honesty. The message is just be nice and don't make waves. One of the many things I love about Adam is his candor. The fact that he doesn't duck questions or hide behind platitudes but answers honestly and directly. He said absolutely nothing here that was cruel or hurtful, IMO.

US No.1 Adam Lambert hopes to inspire 'out' gay artistswww.musicweek.com/story.asp?sectioncode=1&storycode=1049704&c=1The man behind the US Billboard chart's current No.1 album, Adam Lambert, has told Music Week he hopes his success will encourage other 'out' young gay artists to make music around the world. Lambert became the first openly gay male artist to top the US chart this week, according to Rolling Stone. Former American Idol runner-up Lambert told Music Week: "It proves the point that great music doesn't have an orientation. "I hope it helps to open the door for other Out artists and encourages LGBT youth to follow their dreams." Lambert's album Trespassing is due to be released in the UK in July on RCA.

I just got online and managed to make it thru the thread. No vids yet? It's been 3 or 4 hours. What's up with the ninjas? Still sleeping?
When I saw the first pic of Adam being interviewed my initial reaction was, "WTF? Adam is dressed up like a WGWG!" Flannel shirt? Baggy jeans? Then, preppy flannel shirt tied around his waist? Oh, but industrial strength fashion boots. That's more Adam. He cannot go completely homogenized.
As for the show last night, Adam knew exactly what he was getting himself into. He is not a naive little kid new to the celebrity baiting game. I loved his response about Clay. He doesn't know anything nice to say, because he doesn't know the guy, doesn't know his songs, all he knows about him is that he is not selling hit records, and he has repeatedly dissed Adam (which Adam fans have made sure he knows about). In fact, think about it. He didn't plead the fifth for the question, meaning he knew three nice things but wasn't going to say them, or meaning he wanted to slam the guy. He just said he didn't know.
They say that the opposite of love is not hate. It is indifference. With Adam's response he said nothing, yet implied that Clay is totally irrelevant. A non-entity. Pretty genius, I gotta say. Makes me laugh. If he gets grief for it in the press, I don't care, and I don't think he cares. The Claymates aren't gonna buy his album or go to his shows if their lives depended upon it.
Now, where are the vids???????
