Is there anyone out there besides me who hasn't yet received their copy of FAULT magazine? Just wondering if I'm the only one. 
And does anyone have contact information for the magazine? I haven't got my FAULT yet either. I contacted them last weekend and they said that a magazine was sent out on Sunday with my name on it. I am going to wait until Monday or Tuesday of next week and then contact them to get my money back. |

Q ~ Here's another one for your list of "firsts" for Trespassing Among runners-up, however, Lambert stacks up quite well. He's the first runner-up to debut at No. 1 with a second album— again, quite a feat, considering the Idol machine isn't focused on Lambert this year. I've never been happier to be wrong about something. Two weeks ago, the last line of my column read: "Probably won't happen. But wouldn't it be fun if it did?"The event I didn't think could happen was Adam Lambert scoring a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 album chart with his second disc, Trespassing. But I sure was wrong, and it sure is fun: By reaching the penthouse, Adam becomes the first out gay artist to have the best-selling album in America. Trespassing did this by selling roughly 77,000 albums last week.What my early-May column revealed was that every prior well-known gay musician to top the big chart—Elton John, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Ricky Martin and Clay Aiken, among others—only came out of the closet later. Since I chronicled this odd statistic, I've been (happily) inundated with comments, challenges, debates, rejoinders, retweets and attaboys. And questions—lots of questions. Since this has been my most-read and most-commented chart column by far, I thought I might address a few of these questions, as best as I can. Some of the most heated questions I received regard issues better addressed by cultural critics like Camille Paglia or Wayne Koestenbaum, not some lowly chart columnist; but I'll do my best to wade into them. Semi-OT but for my Adam-stanning:
Is there such a thing as a digital photo album? The only ones I see on the web look junky and have bad reviews. Is it better to get a tablet? Is an iPad worth it? Please PM me if you have any recommendations.
ETA: I haven't gotten my FAULT magazine and haven't heard a single person say they have. At this point I wonder if they even exist. It's too expensive just to let it go, too.

I think that's the literal interpretation but even when it's not about a romantic relationship most song writers turn it towards that because that's easiest to associate with. I think his relationship with Brad is far too removed for Take Back to be about him. JMO He said that he went back in time to revisit failed relationships for the songs. Chokehold he said was about several past relationships. He has talked about looking at his past for inspiration on many of the songs so it would seem odd NOT to expect him to include his first serious relationship in those reflections. He has also said that he is so happy now he is glad he kept a journal because he had to read it to get some of those dark moods back. |
