I have tried for about 15 minutes to compose a reply that will not piss people off and failed, so just want to say skylar, I loved your post about the DJs and watching the evolution towards open-mindedness. My two best buddies in high school were gay and for me watching all this has been a lifelong fascination. I don't give a tinker's damn about anything Idol-related, but will say that Bravo show was icky/squicky to me too. But reading the reaction here, I understand that some people like aggressive humor and so glad that audience is also being reached. skylar Just an observation: I hate "aggressive humor" normally. Never watch stand up comedy where people are singled out for ridicule, not crazy about Kathy Griffin for that reason, blah, blah. I didn't see the Bravo show as being that at all. Just a funny segment, less harsh than 90% of SNL, not 10% of what Tim Tebow has had to put up with in the last months, just something put out there and let the chips fall where they may. Although, I do wonder if Andy was aware of Clay's comments about Adam or if it was just a random choice because he is another gay Idol alum.

Because of the part about being wild in the jungle and owning the night, and about fantasy/reality, and taking back all the awful words, and about love/relationship dying. eta: "how do we take back what's been said?....I fed you a fantasy, but you been drunk on reality. All you want is to be wanted, long as you get it out of me. We used to be a jungle, sticky and wild, it used to be we owned the night. All the stupid games we're playing, al the shit that we been sayin'......Remember the first time we collided? We lost it, we lost it." Take Back lyrics This sounds like love relationship stuff to me. I think that's the literal interpretation but even when it's not about a romantic relationship most song writers turn it towards that because that's easiest to associate with. I think his relationship with Brad is far too removed for Take Back to be about him. JMO
We'll never who it was about probs but he did mention Brad in his album notes as his first love. Even though he's far removed, I think we all remember our first loves and first break-ups.

Well, this is weird! After 2 1/2 years, the AMAs just uploaded Adam's performance to their VEVO channel! I don't think Adam's voice has ever been so off key before in his life. If he had sounded better, this might have been a great performance. He has matured so much over the last two years. I would like to see him do this again sounding like he does now.

Hi everyone! I was at the Chicago show and got back home on Tuesday. I've been trying to catch up on all the news every since. It was so much fun seeing Adam live again and seeing all of the kids loving him. I also loved talking to other Glamberts and seeing us with our Trevor Project necklaces and key necklaces.
I have a fun story about when we checked into our hotel. The young gal checking us in asked what brought us to Chicago and I answered, "Adam Lambert." I completely took her by surprise and she giggled and said, "He has the best hair!" I agreed and asked if she had seen him live. She hadn't, so I told her what a mesmerizing performer he is and that she needed to see him. She giggled some more and told me that he has beautiful eyes. The rest of the time she checked us in she kept giggling. She never expected me to talk about Adam! I didn't see her again. If I had, I would have told her about the concert.

But not one single news report said anything about the vocal. Why? Because it was bad for Adam. But compared to everyone else that night (except Kelly) it was great! I watched this hours after it was on and after I read several boards. I was scared to turn my DVR on, and when I did my first thought was, "That's not that bad!" Not up to par, for Adam, but not as bad as the on line freak out made it, IMO. And I had to rewind the ninja roll over and over to figure out if it was a fall or choreographed!
