Had A FANFUCKINGTASTIC TIME in Wilkes Barre! Adam was on fire (as you've all seen in the videos). Daughter and I had a room overlooking Adam's bus parked in the back of the Kirby Center. Never in my life would I have thought I'd stalk a band's freackin' bus....but stalk we did.   We were rewarded with a photo with "the gals" (incredibly sweet and I will never complain about their singing again, lol!)  and Tommy (haha! my daughter had to really bend down "Mom, he's so tiny!")  ...and then ADAM!!! *SQUEES LIKE A NINNY!* He kinda appeared out of nowhere. So sweet...he was being rushed into the bus by security but stopped for a second so that we could grab a photo...."Hi guys! Are you excited?!"  After our meet up with ATOPS and the TALC ladies (So much fun, and so great to put a face with a name - thanks Mayumi for organizing!)  ...we thought we'd run back to our room before the concert. Well....had just pushed the elevator button and security ushers Adam into the building. Had my camera out but was so flustered and startled I only got a fuzzy pic. Doesn't matter - ADAM FREAKIN' LAMBERT said "Hello ladies" to me, kid and a couple of other totally starstruck women. ;D  Didn't take too many photos during the concert (too far back and too busy dancing and singing.    So thrilled with the entire experience! WHAT AN AWESOME DAY! |

Last night's concert was fantastic! It was so much fun meeting so many of you. I hope everyone got home or to the next venue safely. My drive home today seemed to fly by because I was lost in thought about all the wonders of yesterday. Now I know I said I was never gonna video a concert again but I just had to have at least a sound recording for myself. The video part of it is classic "Jesslala" and even made me seasick to watch it, LOL, but the sound came out great. I just want to go on the record here and say that I think there should be a law passed that says that men over 5'6" tall should not be allowed to buy a ticket in the front center rows of the theater. Even though all I did was stick my little video camera up in the air pointed at the stage, the result was that most of my video looks like a pornographic episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. j/k   I wish this guy was taking video for us, he had the best view in the theater. I hope Adam saw this girl's heart because she was so excited. I can't wait til Adam has another event nearby. Summer 2013 is just too far away. |
