Lambert became the first openly gay male artist to top the US chart this week, according to Rolling Stone. Former American Idol runner-up Lambert told Music Week: "It proves the point that great music doesn't have an orientation. "I hope it helps to open the door for other Out artists and encourages LGBT youth to follow their dreams." Lambert's album Trespassing is due to be released in the UK in July on RCA.

Quick note before we head to DC.
Last night was superfragillistic! I estimate about 20 percent was there for the duo Cab. They sang along with the duo, knew almost ever song
and were really into it. Mostly young fans from what I can tell. Said to myself, great, if they thought these guys were good, they are in for a treat for the real thing. Then hopefully they go out and buy the album. Need to keep BB near the top and on his way for another platinum album ( I am on the camp that by now, a million has been shipped/sold in the US.
Had a great turnout (about 40 including guests) at our meet up - not only met fellow Atoppers but the wonderful Talc ladies. Thank you for the beautiful vids.
Virg, thanks for the beautiful pics and sorry about your ticket. DH also got one. It's Adam's fault!
