I think someone must have suggested he tone it down and this is his way of saying "hell no" haha...he even called Tommy "pretty kitty" for the first time this ere, to the best of my knowledge...

Sound always seems to be off in his performances. :( (And hello; I just joined to chat about Adam but I've been stalking the thread for awhile. I'm super grateful for the pictures.) Welcome sagely... yes, he always had problem with the sound, that's because the sound guy was not used to Adam's voice and his band. We discussed this last week, the solution was either Adam needs to bring in his own sound guy or he just need to just at least accept this flaws and work with what the radio station provided him with .. :-/ |

I was thinking about the fail with IIHY, and I know that for myself, when one thing goes wrong with a song it starts to snowball until the whole thing is a mess. He was probably trying to hear himself and knew he was off key--and then that made him forget the lyrics...and...and (you get my meaning?). It was interesting that he was off-key at just the same pitch during the whole song (about 1/2 note flat, it sounded like--painful). At least he's consistent!
Considering how hard he's been working and how difficult his material is, it's amazing that everything sounds SO good SO consistently! He really is a perfectionist, so I hope he doesn't kick himself too much over the song tonight. Everything before and after was stellar as usual.
