Meredith @merrycello We also had mad HBIC Adam going to fix the sound after IIHY & then rip out his monitor & say"I'm not using these.Turn up the floor speakers" As I have said often before, nothing worse for a singer than to not be able to hear their own voice. I have wondered, with the problems he has had with this, why he didn't have some kind of a back up plan. I had also noticed that in recent concerts he has taken to wearing only one ear monitor and letting the other one hang. And he has had those speakers at the front of the stage which I suspected were monitors, also. Tonight confirms it. Smart guy to have two different monitoring systems. It let him get right back on track for the rest of the set. Whew! As to posting IIHY on YT, I would prefer it never saw the light of day, too. It is not representative of Adam's work. But, if it is posted, I hope it includes an explanation of why it is off key, and a recording of what he said/did afterward. I would love to hear again Adam purposely singing off key. That cracked me up. |

Hanna B @hannabec Adam could not hear the notes through his in-ears. They just couldn't get the sound to him right. He was asking 4 adjustments continuously.He really had a great show in spite of the sound problems,and what a performance in that terrible humidity. He always gives 150 %. I just hope he doesn't beat himself up over IIHY,he's such a perfectionist. If it goes on YouTube ,it will follow him for a long time. |

I don't think Adam is too upset over the issues with IIHY....one "off" song in a zillion live performances.
The joking about it afterwards was really funny. ;D
