When you're not used to it, it is hard to breath. Surprised Adam could sing at all! Californians do not do well with humidity.

When we moved back, I thought the humidity would kill me :(. Now, I actually kind of like it...weird but true.

How is that possible? I was born in Iowa, but my family moved to Utah when I was four, and the only other place I've lived for an extended period of time was California, so I'm not used to humidity at all. When we used to go back to Iowa every summer to visit my grandmother, the humidity drove me nuts. You wash your hair and it takes three years for it to dry. The sheets stick to you at night. You can bend a cracker. Ugh! As a public service, I have vowed to myself that I will never move to a place that has high humidity because I fear the frustration would turn me into a serial killer. It's for everyone's own good that I remain in dry climates!

I think Adam was still having some sound problems in NCOE. He was not off key, but, there were some shaky moments with individual notes. When he took out the ear monitors completely for Cuckoo, and relied on the stage monitors he was absolutely spot on for the last song. And singing with such confidence. Hope he gets the persistent sound issues worked out. Relying on the stage monitors is probably not a good idea in terms of possible damage to his ears from the loudness. But I tell myself, Adam can hire the best in the biz now, and with his perfectionist streak, he's not gonna settle for less. His voice and his sense of pitch are his trademarks.
Kanadie, you gotta get in touch with his people and offer your services.

Those HannaB vids are great quality but pretty darn Tommy focused. On some Adam's partly out of the frame with T dead center. IKR! WTF?! Loved the dancing and leg action in Shady, then Adam disappeared and it was all Tommy! :-/ This woman is in love with Tommy ... Adam is secondary.

ITA on the humidity. Lived in PA for a long time, and well remember having to peel myself off the sticky sheets when my alarm went off in the morning. It's hotter in AZ, but because the air is dry you don't feel it so much - unless the temps climb over 115 degrees or so.
Even though the humidity in DC made Adam uncomfortable, isn't it easier on the vocal cords when you're in a humid climate? Am I right about this, voice experts?ETA: I stand corrected. According to ehow.com, humidity makes it hard for singers to stay on key, especially if they haven't hydrated properly: "Humid weather makes it easier to hit flat notes and harder to stay on key because hot, humid conditions cause dry mouth. A dry mouth and throat puts more tension on vocal cords, making it more difficult to control the vibration, and thus pitch and tone, of the notes created by the vocal cords. Humid air is full and wet, feeling heavier than dry air. It is more difficult to breathe in quickly and deeply, which makes it more difficult to sing on key. Dehydration caused by the heat and slower breathing can cause untrained, and even trained but unprepared, singers to falter on their notes."

MyS*&@^#rs post moved to here: Can't blame him - Adam's fans tend to have tunnel vision : Yes, because we are ADAM's fans. Unfortunately the videos from one person from yesterday are not as much fun to watch as usual, when the focus (for those who are Adam's fans) is distorted. Just IMO and all that. Not gonna lie, I only watched 2 vids and was not interested in the rest! I love Tommy, but when I watch Adam Lambert concert vids, I want to see Adam Lambert! :-/
