I am sure that Q102 and KISS 108 will add NCOE -- the only question I have is when and how did RCA mess up on that FMBQ ad???? **** Many number 1 songs start on HAC and move over -- particularly for adult pop artists like Adam. And he is adult pop. It is in the top 40 songs on HAC now with more adds today and more new spinners -- this is a good thing. NCOE is >>>>> BTIKM for Top 40 radio. It just is not automatic. The only one who is getting almost guaranteed adds is Katy Perry and with 6 #1's, 1 #3 and working on her 8th single from this album, why not? Which #1 songs have crossed over from HAC? Most songs that crossover from HAC don't do very well on CHR. It's a very long shot. NCOE is a song that was released because of its CHR potential. Without Adam doing a month long intense radio tour, it is going to have trouble making it as high as BTIKM, which was clearly an HAC song.

Okay, I have a question. Pardon my ignorance. It's a great add day and know that will make a difference in sales. But, should we be concerned about week 2 percentage drop (not sales but the high percentage) and how that might be interpreted by radio or others with influence? I'm asking b/c I truly don't know.
Can someone who has some stats about this kind of thing with other artists or insight on Adam's numbers let me know? ???
Regarding the drop -- it is not notable outside of the Idol bubble. I expect a USA Today (B. Mansfield) piece about it. PDs are more likely to be influenced by what other stations experience and NCOE track sales.

My only concern is that maybe this means I'M STILL IN THE IDOL BUBBLE. Ahhhh! Let me out. lol. It's like I'm in Adam's video and need to stop taking the idol pill.

iTunes positions Eastern times. Good news, NCOE is climbing slowly. Weirdly WWFM has taken a sudden jump but Trespassing(song) has dropped off the top 400 pop. Even BTIKM is climbing some. Also the album has taken a turn back up after dropping a bit.

I have asked this question before without getting an answer ie how did Adam get to be classified as a HAC artist? Isn't that format primarily for WGWGs that sing soft rock songs? Or is there a rule that any guy coming from Idol automatically must be on this format?Neither his image or songs fit this format, so it is still a puzzle to me and I need an explanation from anybody in the know on how artists get put in different radio boxes. Based on my experience following radio, it takes sometimes up to a year for a HAC song to cross over to CHR and I personally don't wish this torment on us or Adam. In case no one has noticed, the HAC PDs would jump faster on a song crossing over from CHR than that starting out on HAC unless you are a core HAC artist like Train or one of those ones. Like I said I do not pray or desire for this scenerio for Adam.

Another thing I have noticed about the radio PDs, has anyone other than me onserved the speed at which they jump on British reality acts like Cher Lyord and 1Direction while it takes them so much effort to spin artists like Adam from a similar background and from their very own backyard? 1Direction have almost all the songs on their own album being spun now and 2 are presently charting in the top 30 or 40 on Pop. They have hardly completed their reign and the PDs have moved on to another UK XFactor act called Cher Lylord or however her name is spelled. Those PDs are just a bunch of old fools and hypocrites to me.

Even TMZ (don't particularly know how that gossip site is spelled), carried the news of his sale projection.
