I have no idea what's going on here, both me and my whole twitter feed love it to distraction and have already started making awesome gifs! I swear sometimes his own fans set the bar impossibly high for Adam, it's not a movie with a limitless Hollywood budget. But it is a gorgeously art directed video that isn't your run of the mill concept, with several possible layers of meaning, plus a bonus superfun dancey ending that leaves you wanting more. Which means people will replay it. Which means they will hear the song multiple times, possibly leading to dropping $1.29 on the track. Nothing but win! Maybe...I only watched up to about the 4 min mark. I only liked the first 2 minutes. Sorry. I'm not going to love everything Adam does. I loved BTIKM way better. This was just...nothing special to me, sorry. :-/ Oh right I only like it because I like anything Adam does, I couldn't possibly like it for itself. Jeez.

I agree anjalee. And some songs are just easier to come up with "alternative angles" than others. Some songs just lend themselves to an "out of the box interpretation," and others are more of a stretch. Just my opinion.
But I lOVE the dancing and the neon suits at the end. That feels like the song to me.

I didnt read what Marie said that way whatfun. I can understand that when one fans someone, it could feel a little disloyal or putting down to not to like what they produce, or for that matter who they love and like and hang out with. I thought Marie's comment might have come from that pressure, but idk. In my case, I've decided to be feel all my reactions fully within but mainly focus on the positive aspects when I speak publicly because of the power that has. And also because of the power negative reactions have (potentially way more power than the content of what they say merits).

Hm just woke up, and by there not being a lot of comments...I'm thinking a lot of fans here doesn't like it. Well...way less than BTIKM I'm guessing I have no idea what's going on here, both me and my whole twitter feed love it to distraction and have already started making awesome gifs! LOL I think most fans will love it, for those disappointed in some way perhaps a wind machine ... LOL

Hey it's funny. Anyone realize that the only songs that lends itself to a romantic story is NCOE, BTIKM, Naked Love, basically all the songs that he didn't write on? And out of the 12 that he did write on, only 3 are of the romantic, love interest variety. I love the fact that Adam can think outside of the box, and write things that aren't always the norm, unlike a lot of other artists today. Since I'm not a romantic, it's a nice refresher to not constantly hear songs that's almost always about relationships.
